Worked with Curt to inspect my lakeside home.They were amazing to schedule on the phone, Curt spent time to explain everything to me as a first time home buyer, and worked with me 1-on-1 during the entire inspection to basically be my dad for 3 hours and explain what was wrong and avenues I could take to resolve it.The report came back less than 24 hours after completion of the inspection.I will *ALWAYS* recommend Hawkeye inspection to all homebuyers.

As first-time home buyers, we weren't sure what to expect. What we got was a basement-to-roof examination of every single aspect of the house, a thorough explanation as we walked, and a full report within hours of the end of the inspection. We're much more confident about this house thanks to the time the inspector spent with us. Our relator even tried to get the inspector to agree to more inspections for her! Our family had recommended Hawkeye to us after they used them and they were absolutely right - this was a great experience.

Peter and Justin came to do our home inspection and they were wonderful. They were great about explaining their process of what they were looking at and why they were checking each part of the home. They took their time to make sure they didn’t miss anything. Peter even found a hole in the wall to access the water main control that was behind a canvas painting. They also provided a very comprehensive report quickly on the home after the inspection. They continued with follow up after the inspection to make sure we were fully satisfied, I’d recommend them to anybody looking for home inspectors.

We recently worked with Hawkeye and had a great experience! Staff were very responsive and flexible to meet our timeline. We worked with Mina and he was wonderful. Very informative and answered all of our questions. Highly recommend!

We had a friendly inspector but wouldn't recommend this company for first time home buyers. Inspection felt rushed and many major issues were missed. Contractors spot the issues right away when we've had them come to fix the issues. Unfortunately, a home is not something you can return, so we are trying to make the best out of a poorly guided decision.

Extremely happy with our inspector Neil. This was our first time having an inspection. We have a 3year old & a baby on the way, Neil was very thorough with his work. He explained what needs to be updated in a nice manner. He took his time making sure our home would be safe for us & our children. I would highly recommend this company & if you can get Neil, ask! Thank you so much Hawkeye for having a well mannered / hard working employee to make us feel comfortable with this home purchase & moving in with our children. So happy with this experience from start to finish. Now to fix our minor issues & move on in.

We've used Hawkeye for 2 home inspections within the last few months (the purchase sadly fell through on our first home). We've had both Mike and Chris do our inspections and both of them were excellent - extremely thorough and knowledgeable. They took the time to answer all of our questions, including questions that we didn't even know we had as first time home buyers. Both of them were able to make suggestions for things we could do/improve upon and the best ways to do them. Office is very responsive and great with following up - would highly recommend

Dan Fox from Hawkeye went above and beyond for us. In an extremely fast-paced, competitive homebuying market, our initial offer was pushed back on by the sellers. They wanted us to waive the inspection, which is not something we were prepared to do. Luckily, our realtor recommended Dan, who was able to come to the open house with us the following day and perform a "unofficial" inspection. While we could not receive a formal report, Dan was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. His expertise and guidance gave us the confidence to move forward with the buying process quickly, which was key to winning the bid. Not only did we gain valuable insights into the home's condition, but Dan offered some fantastic mid- and long-term suggestions for improving the property beyond a simple go/no-go. If you have the luxury of scheduling a true inspection, you couldn't do better than Dan and Hawkeye.

Hawkeye Home Inspection went up and above our expectations. We are first-time home buyers and the whole process could have been daunting but Chris really put us at ease as we knew we were in good hands. Chris set our expectations on how the process would work first thing. He was also friendly, funny, and warm which made us feel like we actually mattered as people who were buying a home to move into and live in, not just clients purchasing a house. He was extremely thorough and professional and took the time to make sure we understood what he was explaining to us. I am so thankful Hawkeye Home Inspection was recommended to us and highly recommend them to you!
