Pet Facilities in Lexington
Pet Grooming
PDDC
153 North St, LexingtonVirginia took great care of my sometimes reactive Pekingese during grooming. The set up of the facility helps maintain the calmness of the dogs. It was refreshing to not hear the dogs (from daycare) barking. My dog seems to really like Virginia and he was not whining or scurrying out of the place like he usually would. I’m so glad I found her and will be using her services regularly! Thank you so much!!

Golden Paws Pet Grooming
395 Lowell St, LexingtonThis was our first time at any dog groomer, for our first grooming for our dog. The most important thing for us was that when our dog came out he was happy and was happy to see us but also happy to be around the staff, and the owner there also. When we first got there, the owner picked him up with no problems and she was so welcoming and kind, and we saw that it continued throughout the experience. We are very happy with the experience there and look forward to continuing this relationship with Golden Paws. And birch was very happy and continues to be happy at home after this experience!

Pet Care
Lexington Veterinary Associates
511 Waltham St, LexingtonThey've been able to get my dogs in for urgent appointments, and we moved our elderly husky there because they were able to get her in same day for an urgent foot issue that ultimately required surgical intervention that they performed. She did fantastic, we were there several times over two weeks for follow ups. Had another urgent issue arise and they were still able to fit in same day.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants
BIY Foods Bakery Café
317 Woburn St, LexingtonThis inviting little bakery produces some of the finest pastries in the area. With every visit I am amazed there is little to no wait for the sumptuous collection of scones, cruffins, cupcakes, and more. My 'go to' as of late has been a perfectly-sized, ever so tasty chocolate chip scone paired with one of their many flavors of finely brewed iced coffee (though I confess I do wrestle each time whether to instead opt for the equally tasty egg and cheese sandwich on a biscuit, that Ramona somehow manages to elevate to beyond ordinary). The variety of pastries is perfect for my family, the kids adore the cinnamon cruffin and cupcakes. We are fortunate to have Ramona and her pastry shop in Lexington.

Spirit of India
321 Marrett Rd, LexingtonIn the past two months, we have been to Spirit of India half a dozen times - three times for dining in with friends and professional orgs, and take out the other times for hosting people at home. Our groups almost always had food restrictions ranging from vegetarian, halal, gluten free, nut free, and more. The staff at the restaurant were always friendly and accommodating of our requests. The food was delicious and service was great! Highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!
