We especially appreciated Miriam's help proofreading our ketubah before printing. On other trips, we also got our breaking glass and a gorgeous Havdalah set too.”

“This was a great place to host a birthday party. Dani communicated all details prior to the event. During the party, she adapted the painting for the kids and added fun mixed media elements. She was engaged with them for the entire two hours and gave great, clear instructions. I was lucky enough to take part in a “Joy of Painting Master class.” It was an Annie Sloan tutorial class led by her brand ambassador Jonathan Marc Mendes. Truly attending this class was a highlight of my winter!! The shop owner “Colleen” was the most gracious host at the 2 day event. Check out the classes she offers you will not be disappointed! “A hidden gem! Located above popular Main Streets Market and Cafe, and well worth a visit if you want to buy a unique gift for yourself or loved ones. I went the day after Christmas and took advantage of the 50% sale for holiday decor. I have never seen such decorations and cards anywhere else. Beautiful glass globes and birds, holiday decor made from all sorts of materials to replicate natural elements like birds, acorns, pinecones, etc.Make sure you don't miss it on your stroll through Concord!”

“Such a fun experience! The employees were super nice and went out of their way to show me products that weren't even on display. I left with things that I loved (all Pokemon products).There are a ton of Studio Ghibli things, so definitely stop by if you like that. I was surprised to see that they had Ponyo merch. Haven't seen that anywhere!”

Great service with employees who clearly care about the products, and do some of the best free gift-wrapping I’ve ever seen. A bonus: ask the shopkeepers about Nantucket baskets! This place also happens to be one of the best basket studios outside of the island. The owner is a master basket weaver who is well known on Nantucket.”

“I am a local Concord Realtor and have the opportunity to visit many towns in the area and downtown Concord is so special. One of the hidden gems is Revolutionary Concord and it is a store that should not be missed. It is located in the lower level on Main St and my kids love it because they have a huge toy section. We lost our beloved Toy Store and Revolutionary Concord stepped in to fill that void! They also have a wonderful art section, and of course classic Concord items for tourists as well! We highly recommend Revolutionary Concord for all your Toy shopping needs! Tom”
“I've been a costumer to this amazing store for more than 12 years. And always loved it! Great selection of ideas for gifts, and the owners are super nice! So is the cashier who always greets you with a warm "hello". Reading Peter V. comments on here, saying that he was (or maybe more like THEY were - they, being a group of young kids) "chased out" of the store (with a fist) I'm certain that the reason the cashier had to ask them to leave the store was validated by the fact this GROUP of young teenagers were disrespectful to the store merchandise (were you there Peter V?), by trying on a few items and throughing them back in the shelves. Not just nicely placing the items back, they were actually throwing things like eye glasses and other things around after posing with the merchandise for pictures. Kids these days lack good manners. And that is not an acceptable attitude to be proud of... you may be a parent "protecting" your offspring, but first of all, good mannered we learn from home!”

“Recently my daughter was sick, land I ordered several things from Grandma's Chicken Soup. On the day the order shipped, my daughter was admitted to the hospital - and wouldn't be home for the delivery. I emailed them, and not only did they respond, I received a phone call! They were able to stop the delivery, and will hold it until she gets home - at which time I can have it sent. This was superb, thoughtful Custer Service - totally unexpected, and so very appreciated.”
“I am not a shopper but I stumbled upon Patina Green while I was in town visiting a client. I love this shop!!! Some practical items and some whimsical. I have never shopped at Patina Green without making a purchase, and have gotten some really cute and unique items for my home. The staff is always kind and attentive but they do not hover, so I find the experience to be relaxing. Love that I can purchase a gift and leave the store with beautiful packaging so I don't have to deal with wrapping it later. I live in Central MA and have not visited since COVID restrictions have been lifted but I cannot wait to visit again and see what gems I can find. If you have the opportunity to visit in person or to shop online this is a great small business that deserves your support.”

“I love going to the Audubon shop, there is so much to choose from. In my complex, we have quite a few young families; the children's section covers all a ages, and the sooner you get a youngster into nature the better for all of us. The staff is amazing, and are more than willing to aid you in some specific situations. The trails are easy, even for a geezer like me. Take your time, listen, look, feel the nature that surrounds you. Take pictures, leave with memories and if you see trash, pick it up. Above all, enjoy!”
