Friday morning and I rented a 50 ft boom lift went all the way to the job site and no key. Had to go all the way back on lunch hour to get a key and now I have to work the weekend in the rain because they won't let me keep it till Monday without charging me. Do not rent from home Depot

Military friendly? Not always. I was told emphatically by the people working in flooring that the military discount applies to flooring products, not installation services. So I went through the process of get a measurement, for a fee... only to learn at checkout that Home Depot will not honor their highly marketed military discount for products that they sell. Off to Lowes.

In need of using the restroom I asked the "greeter" where it was and he said there was no restroom in the store and in his warped sense of humor tried to explain why this is so. I said that I had no time to be discussing anything and turned to leave. He quickly changed his tune and directed me to the restroom. When I complained to the manager of the incident and how this "greeter" was toying with me the manager immediately came to the defense of the employee ("he's one of our best employees and likes to engage with the customers but probably went too far this time. But...he would discuss the situation with this greeter"). I expected the manager to immediately side with me instead ..."The greeter's actions are inexcusable and I will talk to him about being helpful to the customers instead of impeding their entering the store. I apologize for this and it will never happen again." It is not lost on me that Lowe's in Leominster also carries storm doors and window blinds.

A jacka$$ employee randomly stopped in front of me and my 3-year-old, saluted, and said "hello mister president." I thought he was saying hello at first so I smiled and said hi, then realized he was referencing the fact that I was wearing a mask. I'm not in your business about whether you wear or don't wear one, and you shouldn't be in mine. Not having any affect at all on your life. Not to mention you are an EMPLOYEE there. How dare you say a d@mn word to me. Absolute moron who should be fired. Will be calling the manager, and corporate as well. Hope it was worth it, buddy. For reference, he was tall and overweight.

Needed advice regarding window blind repair or replacement. Special made (pricey) Bali blinds from 2000. Christian Delgado assisted me and was so helpful, patient and relaxed. He did not push me to purchase new. Gladly called Bali company and was as happy as i to find out there was a warranty. I would ask for him again if needed help in his areas of expertise. Great experience.

I wouldn't normally rate HD so poorly, only I went there early (8:30AM) this Sunday morning, hoping to avoid the rush, but found the place packed! The parking lot was almost completely full, and although there was a guy in front supposedly letting limited numbers of people in at one time, it seemed to me, he was letting everybody in, without restriction. Furthermore, when I got inside, the aisles were pretty crowded, but the worst part is that quite a few people, customers, DID NOT WEAR MASKS! This is STILL the middle of the pandemic, and nothing has changed since a few weeks ago, except that stores are reopening. THE VIRUS IS STILL EVERY BIT AS MUCH OF A THREAT! It's for letting so many customers in at one time, and for permitting customers to enter (and stay) WITHOUT MASKS, that this store gets 1 star.

I waited almost an hour for my order to be delivered curbside. I was told after the waiting that my order wasn't available. I went inside to figure out what happened to my order and suddenly it appeared. Barely an apology. The customer service rep had an awful attitude and the manager seemed annoyed with me for their mistake. More training needs to be done with customer service regarding how they treat people, especially people of color. This isn't my first experience with horrible customer service there.
