No one can give me the hours that the notary is available because no one answers the phone and doesn't allow me to hold and wait to speak to a Customer Service Rep. All the replies are automated. So I called the 800 number and the customer service rep was unable to find out the notary's schedule. So I'm supposed to drive two miles to the bank and ask in person what the hours are for the notary? TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! My advice: FIND ANOTHER BANK!!! In addition to that, they have two lanes open. There was a long line of customers standing in one line, and a man walked in and stood alone in the second line and got ahead of the rest of us who had been waiting patiently for a good ten or fifteen minutes. In fact, I stood there for so long that I missed my bus and had to stand outside for 45 minutes for the next one. Very poorly managed. There should only be one line!!!

I have been a customer of one of the predecessors of Bank of America since 1978. It was Newton Waltham Savings bank. Through a dozen mergers, I stuck with them even with high fees and abusive rules. Then, over the past few years they started closing branches. Now the nearest branch to me is this one, in Leominster. I live in Athol. On top of that, I deposited a check drawn on Bank of America via the mobile app, and they're holding it for a week. As soon as I get my cash, I'm going close this account hard before the end of the year, and good riddance. Stay away ! They don't want you as a customer.Update:The bank's response is false. Did they reference the fact that the item was drawn on their bank ? No. That's primary. Deny all you want, you can explain it in your response to the CFPB complaint already sitting in your inbox.But just for grins lets go over those factors:- account history ? mostly likely since before any of you were born- account balance ? Was roughly 70% of the value of the item and has been stable for years- maker ? A $100M company incorporated in Massachusetts.Nothing excuses your actions. It's pure greed.

What a horrible bank. There is no drive thru, only atms. The bank wouldn't cash a chech writen on an account from them cause it was over 3000. What financial institution does that? Not a way to get new customers.

So a I got a check from my job deposit said check Into my account, it clears all looks good to go. Today I get all the money taken out leaving me negative. how do you clear a check them put it on hold that makes zero sense, I can't wait to leave bank of america as a company

I've been banking at this location for 15 years. They could have a line to the door operate just one teller and not care. Doesn't matter if it's 3:00 on a Monday that manager will not come out and help. If I don't feel safe enough to deposit a very large check through the ATM I want to be able to come in and do that deposit. There seems to be no empathy from them whatsoever. The entire staff sits out back and comes out once in a great while but really they just have two tellers and then they'll close one while the line is going out the door. It's unbelievable. It's like they're so big they just don't care and that's how I feel as a Bank of America customer banking with them since 2009 around the country. I can't believe I was told with no empathy whatsoever by the teller that I could have made my deposit at the ATM. Like my mother was scolding me for walking into a bank.As of the writing of this review they have a 2.1 rating and every complaint is the same. Not to mention the fact that every response is a website to go make your complaints there. The manager is too lazy to actually respond and instead is sending a canned apology message from Bank of America. Perfect example of being too big and not caring.And a lot of the responses have "go use our ATM". Not anything like ...we want to work harder for your money and we should improve. They won't pay a third teller but as far as I'm concerned the management and the people in the back are way overpaid and the only person who listen to my concerns was the guy from Merrill Lynch. He was a nice guy.All because I wanted to deposit one large check in your bank.This is why I did my mortgage elsewhere. The only reason I stay is because of the national bank convenience this bank provides me while I travel. And on that note I've been in better locations around the country.

If you you don’t bank with BOA and you go cash your check issued to BOA please make sure your ID matches the check (completely) if no they may refuse to cash your check. If you use two last name make sure both last name is on the check as long it matches your ID.. I give it 2 stars because the line. If you go in the morning till about 1 you should be ok but any time after that the line is way to long

Racists ppl for my opinion !!!!!!!!!09/12/22 9:26 ami went to bank of american this morning to make deposit and this blonde girl told me to filled deposit and slip, i m customer for over 16 years never ask for one , did ask if was new she she ((no ))maybe they do for you . I dont know anyone at the bank . and see white dude doing the same thing i was doing she didnt ask him for anything. on my way out i did told her about it . maybe she was think back ppl dont have money to deposit, lets het the job done and should be the same for everyone. on the end of the day we pay your salary.

Bank is absolutely terrible. They have 8 people in the building with one teller. 45 min wait at any given time.

I have been to the Downton leominster branch a few times and as a business customer I was treated excellent by both Charles I believe and the shorter blonde woman...they went above and beyond.. excellent service! 5 stars....

I live in worcester and I have already looked twice for a Leominster branch due to poor service from employees at both the worcester and Shewsbury branches. In leominster always well attended by Thiago and Lorena.

got a message from my assistant that he tried calling there Wednesday for a change order for about an hour sent one of the staff up and while they were outside he called back and no answer again and staff member watched them $ of them talking and not answering the phone
