This is hands down my favorite store in all the Berkshires. Isabel and Bernie took a good store and, over the past three years, made it iconic. Step by step they modernized it, reimagined the offerings, staffed it with a wonderful team.When most of us were staying home during the pandemic years, they showed up every day, demonstrating to the community that when you are essential, and food certainly is, you serve even at your own peril. Thank you.Contrast it to what we typically find now in the food deserts we call our small towns. At the local "marts" you'll find highly processed foods that are terrible for you. Here, at Loeb's, you can delight in local breads, fresh meats, sandwiches made with love, organic vegetables, food staples that are good for you. All at prices that are reasonable! Who knew it was possible. Bernie, Isabel, all I want for Christmas is for every small town in America to have a store, and store owners, with your vision and dedication to the hard work of being the best you can be. Keep it up. You make the challenge of greatness look so simple when in reality it is an art form.

Located in the heart of Lenox's Village, Loeb's is great for ordering fresh made sandwiches, roasted chicken, and other homemade foods at the deli counter. Good for a quick grocery shop as well as seasonal local fruits and veggies and Berkshire's Best local foods.In season there are a few outdoor tables to eat at and across the street at Lilac Park there are benches and a few picnic tables as well as local music on certain days of the week in the fall and summer.

Delicious grinders, small grocery store if you need something while staying in Lenox and don't have to drive 10-15 minutes to the nearest major grocery store(s). Parking lot can be a nightmare. Staff at the deli and registers are friendly. You can order grinders on their website ahead of time and will be prepared when you arrive. Great place to get picnic food for an event at Tanglewood, too!

One stop shop! Loebs always has everything I need to get. Which is so relieving after a long day and I just want to go home and get dinner done! Quick in and out. I don't buy burger anywhere else. And you won't either after you've had it. Cranberry chicken salad to die for, yummiest sandwiches and friendly faces. I love Loebs!!

Parking there is a absolute nightmare. Food is awesome and very reasonably priced, but avoid the location at all costs, for the very limited to non existing parking during the summer weekends.

Our annual trip to a show at Tanglewood has been enriched by grabbing sandwiches at Loeb's. Online ordering and popping in there has been easy, affordable and always delicious. Highly recommend.

We stop here for our sandwiches, salads and snacks every summer when we come to Tanglewood from CT. We order online and everything is ready on time. We've been doing this for years and are never disappointed. The sandwiches are fresh and the options are great. We will continue ordering here; it's part of our Tanglewood tradition! Highly recommend.

Good small supermarket with excellent deli counter esp. good for lunch orders, sandwiches. Plus lots of self/service prepared salads, cold noodles. Plus coolers with every beverage. Easy check out with real humans.

Small town grocery store with a pretty wide selection, including unusual items. Great sandwiches and picnic items, which can be ordered ahead, full liquor selection, pastries. Meats, vegetables. Surprising selection for a small place.
