495 Pittsfield Rd, Lenox“Just stopped into this location just minutes before closing with my husband, I must say that our cashier Matthew S. was an absolute savior and able to answer all of my questions as I was uncertain about certain items I was about to purchase- most employees would rush us out the door with a short and negative demeanor but Matthew S. was there with a glowing attitude and pleasant reassurance with my concerns regarding some products I was not sure if I should take a chance on, he is clearly knowledgeable about Market 32 products and policies which made me feel confident moving forward with our purchases, people like him are tough to come by and I will say that I hope he is here every time we come in to shop, thank you Matthew S. and a big thank you to his management team for having him be a part of your team, we will be shopping here more often because of his level of care and support for our needs!”
“Incredible place! Excellent selection of produce and other healthy foods. Really warm, friendly people who made it a pleasure to shop there. No reason to go anywhere else!”
“We went to Tiffany’s our first night in Stockbridge, footsore and exhausted, expecting a little hole in the wall where we could get acceptable food that wasn’t horrifyingly expensive. What we found was a cute little establishment with outdoor seating and amazing food (that wasn’t horrifyingly expensive). Over the next few days, we’d ask, “Want to get a $50 dinner at the Red Lion Inn?” and always found ourselves saying, “Nah, let’s just go back to Tiffany’s.”Everything we got there was delicious, they competently handled a dairy allergy, and were happy to make changes upon request. Service was prompt and friendly, the cooked food was great and the vegetables fresh, and the outdoor seating is surprisingly pleasant for a few tables in front of the restaurant.
Dietary restrictions: They were good about dairy/cow dairy, and there were also notes about gluten free on the menu.”

495 Hubbard Ave, Pittsfield“Always busy, unfortunately. But everyone loves a bargain and their gas is cheaper than anywhere. The air pump is also free, but is placed where you may risk getting hit by a car if you use the pump on the passenger side!”
“Guidos, please after shopping at your store for 33 years I wish you would make returning an item a less fraught experience. In the 33 years which I have shopped regularly I can count on one hand the number of items I have returned. Every time I have been met with rudeness. I love your store but sometimes (rarely) an item does not meet your (mine) standards. This happened with your grilled artichokes recently which were really poor. Not a big deal, it happens. I returned it and did not have a receipt although there is no other business that sells these in the area. The manager reluctanty gave me a $6 credit (having deducted the couple of artichokes we sampled). I said thank you, she (tall, thin, blond) walked away without either apologizing or even saying you're welcome. I know this sounds silly, definitely first world problem but Guidos if you're reading this remember - folks like me are your bread and butter throughout the year. Treat your very loyal customers (which I am) and not just the summer time crowd, with a bit more courtesy. Julia Allan”
“Selection is amazing ... Freshness of everything is wonderful... $$$$ in many things ... 2 beautiful veal chops $73!! .. got them anyway but very pricey on most items”

524 North St A, Pittsfield“Amart is the best place to go!! We live near by & go many times a day for all our needs. Every worker is so awesome & they have amazing food at the deli & sides. I could go to any place in town, but we always choose the best AMART”

Canaan“Wonderful little shop, all on the honor system so bring a variety of bills. They also have a venmo option. Fruits, vegetables, honey and more. Love to support small local businesses as well as eat local!”
8AM - 5PM
13361 NY-22, Canaan“Very nice old style general store with a very good selection of ready to eat desserts. Fresh homemade breads, the oatmeal bread is wonderful. The store also has some hardware aisles with hard to find products.”
“Full service. Deli. Best grocery near Stockbridge, but the Price Chopper in Great Barrington is under renovation right now.
Good wine and beer store nextdoor.”

1 Dan Fox Dr, Pittsfield“Bill Haddad and the associates in the pharmacy get the award for being the most helpful, courteous, professional group ever. They have always gone the extra mile to help me, and to make my visits pleasant. They deserve 10 gold stars! At least 10.”
5AM - 8PM
8 Main St, West Stockbridge“Excellent coffee, good breakfast sandwiches, nice small-town atmosphere. If only the staff and owner could greet the customers with “good morning”, it would be a very enjoyable place.”
“Interesting mix of products. I'm not sure how to use a lot of them but I can't wait to try them! They carry actual yams here and I've never seen them anywhere else in the Berkshires.”
8AM - 10PM
2 Callahan Dr, Pittsfield“The new mgr, there has totally cleaned up the store ,I live near by and go there often and the store has been in bad shape for a long time,I was so surprised to see it looking so good I asked her name and she is the mgr I think it's jessica,I had to tell you because she deserves to know her hard work is noticed in a great way!!!”
7AM - 10PM
660 Merrill Rd, Pittsfield“Out of the three "big" grocery stores in town stop and shop consistently had the best prices, and in my opinion the shortest lines due to having a sufficient number of employees working. And they're always friendly!”
“Huge store with a variety of just about everything including items I can't find at other stores. Very clean and organized. It's a bit of a ride but worth it.”
“Kudos to the bakery department. I purchased a full sheet cake for a birthday party and the guest were surprised that I got it at Big Y. They loved it and said if they wanted a cake in the near future, then they would have Big Y make it!!! Nice job as always ??”
“This is for the diner portion of this business. Very friendly staff on Tuesday mornings. The guy who works breakfast is very accommodating. They are a but pricey but it is downtown stockbridge. Overall quality of the food has been good each time I have taken clients there. I have had a western omelette, a quesadilla and just eggs over easy. No homefries with the omelettes those are extra. I personally do not care since I dont eat home fries usually but people expect it. There is a $15 minimum on a credit card”
6AM - 10PM
1 Dan Fox Dr, Pittsfield“It's a OK location though not much residential nearby so you'd have to drive. It's near Hilton garden Inn but Guidos Fresh Market is closer. cleanliness is decent, people are friendly and willing to help. The prices I feel are ok but discounts not as good as the local Big Y so that's the reason for my rating.”
“This Walmart was cool. No fresh produce or meat, which was something i wasn't used to. But, it is a nice size. They have everything else it seemed. It was stocked, clean, and not as busy as most that I've been to or visited in larger city's. The workers were nice, and that's all you can ask for. No pics for this one.”
8:30AM - 8PM
898 Crane Ave, Pittsfield“Two things about the Pittsfield MA Aldi's: very speedy checkouts, and acceptable prices that help you handle this crazy high food inflation that exists at Market32 and Stop&Rob.”
6AM - 12AM
555 Hubbard Ave, Pittsfield“I can’t even put into words how satisfied I was with Chelsea the florist at Market 32z I had a vision, met with her, and the surprise on my wedding day was PERFECT. She set everything up, and prepared it all even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Chelsea is flexible, accommodating, affordable and AMAZING. I won’t go anywhere else and will continue to send future brides her way!”
“We had ordered a meat platter for a funeral and we mixed up the date and the deli team got the platter together and saved the day and just wanted to thank them so much! Truly appreciated!!!!”
“Helpful employee provided information from his phone app on a specific item (dusk to dawn lightbulbs) that were not available in the store however could be purchased online.”
“This is hands down my favorite store in all the Berkshires. Isabel and Bernie took a good store and, over the past three years, made it iconic. Step by step they modernized it, reimagined the offerings, staffed it with a wonderful team. When most of us were staying home during the pandemic years, they showed up every day, demonstrating to the community that when you are essential, and food certainly is, you serve even at your own peril. Thank you.Contrast it to what we typically find now in the food deserts we call our small towns. At the local "marts" you'll find highly processed foods that are terrible for you. Here, at Loeb's, you can delight in local breads, fresh meats, sandwiches made with love, organic vegetables, food staples that are good for you. All at prices that are reasonable! Who knew it was possible. Bernie, Isabel, all I want for Christmas is for every small town in America to have a store, and store owners, with your vision and dedication to the hard work of being the best you can be. Keep it up. You make the challenge of greatness look so simple when in reality it is an art form.”
