I am writing this review to thank Beth in the pharmacy specifically. It is hard to find a pharmacy in the Berkshires in general but especially on a Saturday. When my infant son needed his prescription filled in a timely manner, (ear infection), she went above and beyond to ensure he would get the care he needed. I usually use the Big Y (in Lee) pharmacy for my prescriptions but after today, I will be switching to Walgreens all because of her care and thoughtful service. I hope that a higher up from Walgreens reads these because you should know you have a true gem with good wits, problem solving skills, and genuine care working for you. Thanks again, Beth!

It was better when it was rite Aid, not much of selection, everything over priced, cashier was friendly, high overturn of employees

We called ahead and confirmed that our prescription was filled by this pharmacy and when we arrived they would not provide it. We understand why, perhaps not their fault, but they could have told us when we called. And, then they were rude and dismissive about it. Another time, we called ahead and confirmed they could give a vaccine, they told us when to arrive and when we arrived they told us we needed a more formal appointment.... Which, when we followed their directions, was not an option on their website. We are out of town so this kind of stuff really made things difficult. They showed no remorse.

I do not understand why this store is low rated. Do not live in Lee anymore but the few times I returned for a visit, I found it to be very well stocked, the location is convenient and I had no issues with the staff. You have to remember many of these places are short staffed because of cut backs and they are doing the best they can.

Extremely rude staff. We called from a neighboring office to get their fax number and after being left on hold for 15 minutes they proceeded to yell at us and say they would refuse any future scripts from us.

Go somewhere else! Continuing a long line of bad experiences at Walgreens, but someone at Big Y recommended I try this store. Went to get a warm compress for an injury and the only option they had was a $20 rubber bag. On the way out, I found an electric heat pad in an aisle at the front of the store with the seasonal stuff (near a huge display of rubbing alcohol and hydrogen peroxide) there were two different kinds in the same section labeled $23.99 each or buy 1, get 1 50% off with no other labels nearby. I grabbed one of each cover (same product, different covers)and headed to the register. The cashier (who turned out to be one of their managers), rang them up and I mentioned the sale and he said that was only for Walgreens members (which I am and had told him already, but he still asked me to take a couple minutes to sign up). The price still didn't change so I mentioned the shelf and the price/sale sign and he checked on his handheld and said that it was a different sale. I asked him about honoring the price clearly marked in the aisle and he said no. He didn't even ask where I found them or to look at it so he could fix the signage. I cancelled my sale and saw him marching to the back of the store nowhere near where the items came from. Manager wasn't friendly or helpful and didn't take accountability for staff mismarking prices.

Decent walgreens.A little dark and drab but they have a decent selection and the staff is nice. Not sure why it deserves such a low rating.

Nasty. They should not be in the business of health care. Patient access to medically necessary prescription medications should not depend on whether the pharmacist is in a good mood.

Placed an online order for in store pick-up. I noticed the order was missing an item before I left the store and the manager refused to add the item to my order. (they were bogo). They stated I could return the order and repurchase it and lose out on my coupons.. I had to call the 1800 number to get this resolved. To make matters worse the individual I was speaking too was the store manager and they tried to tell the 1800 number that they substituted the item which was not true and they knew I was missing the free item all together.

The pharmacy workers were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I have not had this good of customer service in a long time. Much appreciated!

You must ALWAYS call to see if the pharmacy is actually open or not. They cannot keep it staffed enough for regular hours, even with the very scanty hours they are supposed to offer. I recommend CVS in Lenox by Price Chopper.
