Love the friendly atmosphere and how gentle they were with our kittens. Given the very high cost of Valley Vet spaying them, we've scheduled that with another vet (50% cheaper) but otherwise very happy with this office.

I have been using Valley Vet for all my pets for 30 years+. The care, compassion, kindness and love that Dr. Shanahan, the techs and front office staff show is unmatched. Specifically, Mariah, Liz and Eden.
They are simply the best out there and I would never trust anyone else with my pets’ care. They go above and beyond every time. I never feel rushed and I also never wait. I don’t know they balance that delicate technique. I feel like Dr. Shanahan treats my pets as if they were her own.
Furthermore, Dr. Shanahan is incredible with my wildlife as a rehabber and will offer guidance and support whenever I need it.
I could not possibly recommend Valley Vet more!

I have been bringing my dogs to Valley Veterinary Services in Lee, MA for the past forty years. I feel they are the best in the Berkshires and always recommend them to anyone looking for a vet. Our Malamute, Jax, is able to walk today thanks to Dr. Leahey. Our animals give us so much joy, why would we trust their care to anyone but Valley Vet?

This place is amazing. Nobody in my town would take my dog and she was in a lot of pain. I started calling out of town vets afterwards and I called Valley. They were the easiest place I've ever dealt with when it comes to my dog. They took her in the very next day which was today. The communicated with me and explained everything to me in a way so I would understand what was going on with my dog. Everything went extremely well and my dog is home again with medicine and instructions on how to take care of her. Valley was literally a godsend. If you guys see this I just want to say thank you, Niko appreciates you!

Everyone is so friendly and helpful! You get an amazing experience from the beginning when they pick up the phone to end when the vet has done an amazing job and then you are told in great detail what is going on with your beloved pet and what steps to take next!

They always take good care of us and our kitties. When it came time to say goodbye to our 21-year-old, they were so supportive and caring. They even sent us a condolences card afterward. Best vet experience I've ever had.

I should have left a review months ago, but better late than never, I guess! My soul kitty Charlotte had a dental here, and they did an excellent job, but she has a very sensitive digestive tract and did not react well to her antibiotics. The vet prescribed a probiotic, but Charlotte wouldn’t eat it, and she had horrific diarrhea for weeks. Then, almost a month after her dental, she started passing blood. Panicked and terrified, I dialed the emergency extension, and the vet techs were wonderful. But Charlotte continued to pass blood, so I called again, hysterical—it was now almost 4:45 pm, and Valley Vet closes at 5 o’clock, but I live a half hour away, and Dr. Shanahan agreed to see us after-hours! She examined Charlotte and determined that her colon was extremely irritated from all the diarrhea, so she gave her two injections to calm her system (which, thankfully, was very effective). I just can’t say enough about Dr. Shanahan and the entire staff. They were all so kind and compassionate—not to mention extremely patient with this very upset cat mom—and they really went above and beyond for us. Charlotte is doing great, and we both say thank you, Valley Veterinary Sercice!

We appreciate the friendliness, professionalism, and expertise of everyone…the office staff, techs, and veterinarians…who works at Valley Veterinary Service. Whether addressing our dog’s needs over the phone or in person, we always feel that our pup is in the hands of caring and knowledgeable individuals. We highly recommend Valley Vet!
