The worst customer service, my husband left a prescription from his dentist (He just got surgery)at this Location. When he went to pick it up they told him I can't give it to you because you don't have a valid US ID. First of all, the prescription is under his name, with that Dom Rep. ID he applied for MH, he goes to the dentist and his PCP. First time I've heard that they ask you for identification to pick up a prescription. and I called the Pharmacy department and they were very rude, I will not return to this Location anymore. It is not clean and there are always people outside asking for money. DON'T GO HERE!!

I was sent to this location to take a pre-employment drug test. The process was painful. I was patient and it took about an hour to get in… it was a busy day what can you do? Going in for the test I took the test and I left the cup in the wrong spot. The woman who was helping me was not very friendly and went on about how nobody follows instructions and it’s so hard for people to listen. It sounded like I was getting disciplined by mom. I replied with a sarcastic apology… The employee went on to apologize for their tone and how they spoke to me. Yet Another reason why I go to cvs.

I have had some positive experiences at this particular Walgreens, however it's unfortunate that the negative experiences outweigh them. There are a few select employees who do seem to take their jobs seriously and work with a sense of pride, I wish I could recall their names and will pay attention next time I am there and edit this review to reflect that. This is a very busy pharmacy. It's in a central location of Lawrence, easy to get to by walking or public transportation. But because it's so busy, it often feels like you are being ignored. And that may be true at times. I've been in a huge line at the front checkout, with one cashier working while multiple other employees appear to be standing around chit chatting rather than opening a second register to help. My main gripe is in regards to the pharmacy. They are constantly understaffed and the wait can be very long. And even if u call ahead they rarely have your things ready on time. And they aren't very polite, in general. Though some have been very helpful at times. It all depends on the day and what time u go there. There are sometimes homeless people outside asking for change, but what's really the harm in that? Ignore them if you don't want to donate any change. They are not ALL drug addicts. I know some of them and they are nice people, they are just human too. And if u don't like the homeless or pot holes in the lot, don't go to a pharmacy on the heart of Broadway. That whole area is run by the homeless. They are outside almost every establishment on the road, they are on the sides of the roads themselves. At intersections, up at your window. What else would u expect? Maybe Lawrence should have more resources for the homeless and it wouldn't be such an issue. Anyways, this Walgreens is just like any busy, city pharmacy.
