“Stayed here for a couple of days for a trip I took to look at a truck. First morning I wake up and the parking lot is flooded on 1 side of the building from all the rain. The staff did their best to alert everyone to move their vehicles.”
“Willow Spring Vineyards was the perfect venue for our wedding in October. Jenny and the rest of the staff were so kind and helpful during the entire process and went above and beyond with the service. The leaves had turned color and it was a beautiful day. The vineyard scenery was beautiful. The wine was delicious too!”
“I attended an event at Castleton over the weekend. The venue is stunning and it had so much to offer. Below are some things to think about if you are hosting an event here.Recommendations:GET MARRIED AT SUNSET! (you will not regret these photos.)Apps and display trays were all DELICIOUSWorked:* Wedding coordinator was on point* flow is cool (ceremony outside, cocktail hour in main building, reception area to follow.* If there is an event on the other side of your event you cannot hear it, sound proofing is done well.* Bartender quick, nice and efficient.* overall experience wonderful.* Outdoor fire places are AMAZING!* staff was quick, attentive and supportive.Didn't Work:* There is a room for the groomsman and brides maids to get dress, have space during the wedding. The bridal area is very small depending on the size of your bridal party (just something to think about).* The ATM was out of cash at the start of our event and remained that way throughout the night* Some of our time outside seemed to interlock with another families time outside.* Because another event was on the other side of ours at times there were stragglers over at our event one in which whom completely undressed in our bathroom. (Not the venues issue but something to keep in mind.) We luckily had an adult only event.”

The wedding ran so smoothly and my wife and I were confident our vision would be brought to life. As a couple who is apart of the LGBTQ community, we felt seen, accepted and supported. There were no awkward moments and we were treated exceptionally well. Oh and the food!!! Amazing!! Vinwood catering and their staff were amazing!! You will definitely not regret choosing Groveland Fairways!!”

“We had Belle and Rapunzel surprise my daughter for her 5th birthday party at our home. The communication leading up to the even was excellent and the princesses who arrived were so wonderful with the children. They knew when to speed things up (no more stories, time to dance) and ensured everyone had fun. They stayed in character and genuinely connected with my daughter and her friends. The kids loved the face and nail painting. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a fun party activity.”
“What an amazing experience! We got married at the Lanam Club on 10/9/21 and had the most wonderful day. From beginning to end, the staff at the Lanam Club helped us put together our vision of a wedding and ultimately delivered everything we expected. We had a smaller sized wedding (110 ppl) and it was perfectly intimate for this venue. The courtyard for the ceremony was the perfect size, interior bar and dining area were great for cocktail hour and late night dancing, and the outside tent for dinner created an awesome ambiance. The food is amazing, highly recommend the filet mignon, along with many of their passed hour 'devours. Joanna was awesome to us and helped is with everything along the way. She was available whenever we needed her and not only provided feedback on our preferences, but also gave us ideas and inspiration for our night. I highly recommend the Lanam Club for your wedding. Especially in the fall!”
“A friend rented out this space for a big birthday party and it was a blast. The space is large enough for a very large gathering. The access to bathroom is easy enough and the bathrooms were clean.”

“Cowabunga's was absolutely perfect for 2nd birthday party. We wanted to find somewhere that would work for kids of all ages as well as adults, including grandparents. We booked supersized private party and everyone had plenty of room to play and relax. We also loved that they did the decorating and cleanup so we just had to bring some beverages, cake and snacks. We are hoping to book again for next year once the calendar opens up that far!Updated to add we enjoyed 3rd birthday there as a private party during day and look forward to celebrating 4 as well!”
“The Elks is fairly priced and some of the bartenders are so nice . The elks is clean needs a little face lift but one of the better places to hols any type of event.”
“Parking was difficult. And the way that the Bars were set up in the facility hindered those of us sitting in the expensive seats on the floor from seeing the monitors above the bar while people were standing in line for drinks.”

“We had our daughter and son in laws baby shower here last weekend. The event space was perfect! The food was delicious and the waitstaff Xavier was attentive, professional and personable. Our guests commented that it was the best shower they had attended! Chloe the event coordinator did a wonderful job overseeing the planning of the shower. We appreciate all her help making this day stress free and such a fun day! From a happy gramma to be!”
“Everything was great! First time here. The rented skates were a bit worn (laces/velcro). I've never rented before so I'm not sure how often they update their skates but other than that, we had a blast! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pricing was fair.”

It is right in the sweet spot of what they are: not a steak house, not trying to be Michelin or the next big thing…this is a good restaurant for the community serving great food at good prices!We had Tour of Italy (wow!) and chicken parm. New: fresh pasta - rigatoni. There are three fresh pastas available. The sauce is as it should be-balance of herbs and sweet, not too sweet.Met great staff. Cannot remember a gen manager checking come and say hello and get to know us. Larry was another part of staff that was very welcoming. Hard working staff deserve great tips for great service.Easy location. Plenty of parkingRestaurants are fighting for clients - be fair people!”
“We’ve been a few times over the last 20-ish years. We’ve had my grandparents 50th and 60th wedding anniversary dinner there where there’s 40-ish of us. The service is always amazing, everyone is so nice and the food is phenomenal! The prime rib is the best but the seafood is also amazing! It’s a real treat every time we go!”

“It's fine. Interior rehab from previous design is pretty and contemporary. Adjusted to the "fast casual" type of hotelling that is common today. Rooms were clean and crops but small. Shower head is a D-. Water pressure is terrible. That may be a regulatory issue but I have to believe a better shower head could help.No cooties, cleaning staff obviously does their job and the building refresh will make it feel nice for a while. Plus I grew up around here. Good landing spot for visiting my childhood.Addendum: the new HVAC units are too loud. Otherwise I'd score the rooms better.Food & drinks: Aroma Joe's across the street and Crack'd are just down 133 aways. I love Crack'd, excellent fast breakfast and coffee.”
