Purchased online. Shoes delivered were tighter-smaller than normal. Connecting with customer service is pain. No response on email. Keep this in mind before ordering online. Money wasted.

Went into the store and the sale associates not even reply to the good morning I said to them. It was a Sunday morning I thought I must be hard to be working on a Sunday and kind of brush it off.Then I started to look for shoes for me, I ask one of the boys working that day and he was not only not helpful but rude.Mind you the store was almost empty and they were just wondering around.I found the shoes that I wanted, by myself for me and my boys. And again the boy at the register not even reply my greeting but completely ignore us.The quality of the costumer service at that stores is non existent, even my husband that loves to shop shoes for our boys was relieve to leave the store.

I like the shoes here a lot, but the parking lot/crosswalk situation is crazy. When the manufacturing shift changes it's like hundred of people leave the building all at once. The cross walk isn't on a time turn basis-it's a press it and the signs flash yellow immediately kind. This means all million+ employees can just clog the entire road for the sake of crossing. But wwait... there's more! Then they all get in their cars and pull out of the parking lot. If you happen to be a customer like me pulling in during such a time you may even have the pleasure of seeing employees driving on the wrong side of the road in the parking lot just so that they can all get out. It is right off of such a busy intersection that it disturbs traffic for atleast 30 minutes. There has to be a better system they could implement to reduce the impact on traffic. It's just bloody murder man.

I used to love new balance. Today it was vey bad customer service experience.Be cautious you will feel cheated if you go to return or replace. Not sure if that is a company policy or someone who doesn’t care about customer experience. I had bad experience with a person called himself Manager, “Max” , did not listen to me at all and pushed his own policy on me where in another employee had a little sense.The store lost his one customer today forever.

Usually I come here, I’m greeted by young, pleasant employees. Today, “Michelle” or “Melinda” was at the register. Older looking, blonde lady who seemed unhappy with life. I asked if I could use my student discount in the store. She gave me an annoyed look asking “uh what kind of student?” I replied “a college student”. She then responded with attitude “we don’t do that here”…. Weird because this is the 5th time I’ve come here to buy shoes for clinical and I’ve always had no problem using my student discount in person.When I said I would order them online she then said “WELL, this is cheap anyways,” ($113) BUT overall, I was fine with that. I have no problem ordering online and waiting for it to be shipped at home for free.The reason I gave it 1 star was customer interaction. All of us locals know that New Balance is a well-respected , very reputable training brand born in Lawrence, MA. You’d think they’d hire people with more compassion to represent what the brand once was. I would’ve paid for the shoes full price, but the fact I had such a terrible experience, it was a huge turn off. I can’t imagine how she treats other customers coming in who may need help or have questions. Will not recommend the location to others anymore when they ask where I buy my kids and my own New Balances.UPDATE: they no longer offer student discounts online, still ok. I work at a hospital. I still get a discount online. :)
