2021 taxes were the worst experience in my entire life, Doug Thompson filed my taxes without my consent in 2022, when I asked about it he denied saying it was not in his end, IRS documents show his name!! Then after 7 corrections that I had to check personally, and he was going to supposedly send, he did send an empty file, and that made the IRS send me a letter saying I owed them 1700 in December 2022, how do I know this? Because finally I went with H&R to review my 2021 taxes, after all this mess, and they found the correction Doug Thompson sent in July 2022, was empty showing only the income, not a single deduction, did Doug this in retaliation of all the emails and follow ups I asked? Maybe.... we will never know because he will deny it ..

They continue to invoice me for services not rendered. I paid $550 for a projection (that also came with two incorrect invoices,) and then they forgot about me as a client. After failing to send me the paperwork to get my taxes done and not knowing when my LLC needed to file, I had to find another CPA last minute. Continuing to receive invoices in the mail truly adds insult to injury.

Doug's responsiveness and ability to create urgency with his team to complete our accounting and tax returns, has taken an enourmous weight off my shoulders.
His professionalism eliminated all fear and doubt especially where our restaurants are so busy and its easy to put things off over and over than call him frantically to meet deadlines.
Every interaction is timely, attentive and is like business as usual, just another day at the office!

The singular worst experience I have ever had with a professional!! A disaster in every aspect imaginable from communication to deadlines to competency. Had I not pushed, my estimated taxes would have been late and I would have overpaid amounts due. I had questions that were never addressed. The IRS requested additional information and Doug Thompson failed to respond to my email and to a call, leaving us to deal with the situation ourselves. Doug Thompson of LCW dropped the ball completely and repetitively. It pains me to have to write this review but, even factoring in the pandemic and quarantining, it is more than warranted.
