I worked with Rick in trying to do a pre-buy for my home propane for the 24/25 season. Even though it did not work out due to tank not passing, he was great to work with. Always available for my questions and kept me updated on the progress. I highly recommend him to anyone. Will definitely check back again next year.

Haffner’s have been supplying fuel for Merrimack Golf Course for decades.
They have always been extremely reliable, and helpful. This winter, the fuel tank of 38 years, was finally deemed unusable. Not knowing how to get rid of this hunk of metal, we called Haffner’s for help. Rick Winters returned our call, and provided us with many options to fit our needs. Rick was truly unbelievable. It is very unusual these days for companies to have any customer service. Rick went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. He was in constant contact throughout the buying, bringing and installing our new tanks. I would highly recommend Haffner’s, and especially Rick Winters, who Haffner’s is very lucky to have as an employee. Well done Rick

Haffners is a great company.
I have always used them for reliable heating service but today (sunday) I had a
MAJOR problem after hours and Paul came out very quickly and saved my house from an absolute disaster.

"Jay" at the Lawrence gas station is very rude and assaults customers. Don't buy gas at Haffner's.

Haffner's recently merged/acquired the smaller family owned business I'd been a loyal customer of for a few years in 2023. When it came to my first interaction with the new parent company I wasn't sure I'd experience the same level of attention and customer service as before. After a minor issue uncovering my past client records and history one of their sales reps, Rick, reached out to me to talk through the new business structure as well as provide me with peace of mind that not only would the transition be smooth but the services provided would be of equal or greater value. Not only did he work with me patiently by answering all my questions in a confident manner, he went so far as to work to expedite a propane delivery to me in less then 48 hrs but also continued to text me several times to keep me posted on delivery status and timing. Between that level of attention and the new mobile/online capabilities of the company that allows clients to track levels, place orders, and pay bills digitally I'll remain committed to being a customer of Hartmans/Haffners/Energy North.

We've been pretty disappointed since our former family-run fuel provider was bought out by Haffner's. We received NO information about changes to service or procedures or fees upon the switch. They hit us with a new annual "maintenance fee" of $125 for the tank. What's worse, is our former company always told us to wait to call until our tank was down to 20 percent. On Friday I called Haffner's to order, and was told they only come to our area once a week (on fridays) but that if they delivered that day I would have to pay a $100 "same day charge" even though they never advised us of any change in ordering/delivery procedure and were likely driving RIGHT PAST our house anyway. I asked if they would waive the fee this one time since they never informed us about changes, and they refused. So now we are praying we don't run out before next Friday. The ONLY reason I'm giving them two stars instead of one is because I feel badly for the lovely woman I spoke with at the local office who had no authority to help. Entirely unimpressed with their business practices so far and will be looking to change to a new provider.

The oil deliveries are always timely and the delivery drivers are efficient. I like the emailed delivery ticket so I know that a delivery has been made and I can save it as a pdf file.
