Went there Friday Feb 9th 2024. Very nice respectful staff. They honored the family's wishes to do a non-traditional funeral, with music, singing, chess playing, etc.

Good PRICE, NICE STAFF, that is AVAILABLE (they always pick up the phone and this is very important when you are planning this type of event because time is litteraly of the essence. Also, you can call them as frequently as you need to with any worry you have, they will walk you through everything. ).FYI: Before my uncle Aridio passed, I had done my research on the best prices in the area. Farrah PRICE for WAKE+ CREAMATION aligns with the cheapest funeral homes in the area as per DFS Memorials (they don't seem to be members of this org but they have the same prices as the funeral homes that are part of this org, and these are the cheapest prices).

This was our first experience with death in our family and Farrah Funeral Home & staff walked us through with tender words and warmth. We all felt cared for and very peaceful through the week.Loui Farrah is a wonderful, caring person that is very understanding of family.Thank you for giving us all that through our heart break. Not so happy with Farrah, He made us wait a month or so for an urn we didn’t even need. Beautiful urn definitely great quality but 400-500$ down the drain. Sometimes hard to get a hold of Farrah because of how many cases he is taking and when I called in for a death certificate to obtain and fix some errors- Anthony gave me the worst attitude. The initial care and handling of my mom was very professional and handling of her cremation but afterwards yup not so great. Please do your research unfortunately death is a business.

They let their guests do whatever they want, guests blast the music in their cars which disturbs those who are trying to rest peacefully at home, they drink, employees go home and the guests stay behind being loud and disruptive. How about rather than the employees going home they should make sure the guests they host go home BEFORE they go home. There has to be more control and there isn’t any which is unacceptable and sad how this funeral home operates, unprofessional, no order, careless!!

Honestly this funeral home needs to be shut down is the 3rd funeral i go to this month they done a horrible job the director is rude I felt bad for the families how my uncle still had blood on his head his eye half opened

Lou and Anthony where very helpful, answered all our questions. This was all new to me and my siblings. Lou made the funeral arrangements and process easy for us, on such a hard time for us in loosing our father. From the Portalatin family, We Want Thank Lou And Anthony. I came on Aug. 6th Friday for a gentleman I knew for a very long time. They did a excellent job with my friends body. Very nicely dressed & his face looked wonderful. The funeral home was big & clean. Thank you for making my 1st visit ever a good one

If I Could Give This Funeral Home No Stars I Definitely Would . I Recently Attended A Funeral Here And They Are Extremely Unprofessional . The Day Of The Funeral I Tried Getting My Family Member’s Personal Items And The Director Had Left Before The Service Even Ended And I Was Told To Pick Them Up The Next Day. When I Go The Next Day I Am Questioned On Why I Would Like My Loved Ones Items Which Really Bothered Me . When It Came To The Memory Cards Forget It, They Put The Wrong Birthday . Although It Was An Open Casket, I Felt As If They Should’ve Warned The Family To Bring A Covering Or Hat Of Such To Avoid Looking At Any Obvious Incisions Made Beforehand . I Get That They Deal With Deaths On A Daily But When It Comes To Remembering Our Loved Ones They Best Way Possible , They Are Very Sloppy . I Do Not Recommend This Funeral Home At All, Invest Your Money Into A Better Home And Give Your Loved Ones The Respect They Deserve .

Well this is the one Funeral Home I would never tell someone to use. 1) My family member was dead for 4 days and still no OBIT. posted called to ask what is going on, well was told the women who posts forgot to post and at the time wasn't in can I please send an Obit I put together via email so they can post what I had.......Are you kidding me, and we paid them to do this now, we are owed a refund in my book. 2) On the day of service you walk in to no one to greet you, to help with any questions. 3) There are 4 show rooms with no names of who is where and in what room, then when you pass by the office to see if anyone will come out to help you they just look away....are you kidding me. 4)Then we had to wait for them at time of service to print Memory cards for family.....and we paid for this. I wouldn't send my DOG there to have a service. There I am sure much better places to send your loved ones to have a service, save your money.
