One of our best purchases from 2023 was joining Red Shirt farms CSA. The vegetables are fresh and beautiful! We always look forward to our pickup day browsing through the pick yourself herbs and flowers.

Wonderful farm and CSA .. Sarah & Jim are lovely hosts in an garden to be admired. I also very much loved my visits with the herb garden on site.

The veggies are top notch, every week has been a treat. The fresh herbs I can cut , the beautiful flowers I cut each week that brighten my home all included in the fee. I have belonged to other CSAs and Red Shirt Farm is the best. Everyone who works at Red Shirt Farm is professional, friendly and knowledgeable.

Beautiful bounty of produce with our CSA. Lovely interactions with both farmers and other members. Plus the property is gorgeous. We look forward to our 20 weekly visits each growing season. Highly recommend!

I know it's unconventional, but once you've had a Red Shirt Farm turkey, you'll know what I mean when I say that this turkey is worth eating year round. I bought two this year and am just about to cook up my second one (it's February). It feels like a warm hug in the depths of winter.Disclaimer: I'm a farmer too, and very picky about the meat I eat. This turkey is the best there is.

the quality of their chicken and turkeys are unsurpassed.. I'm an old school guy and remembers when my grandfather would make chicken soup and when it was done and stored in the refrigerator then taken out it was always gelled from the collagen in the chicken .. this has never happened to me when I make chicken or turkey soup ,until i started using the chicken from RED SHIRT FARM.. and it gels up .. I feel it will make me live longer

2nd year we done our CSA here. Fantastic quality at a great price. We love going to the farm. Always a little something special to see or take home! Love the pick your own flowers and herbs!Jim and Annie and their crew practice regenerative farming. It’s all inherently organic too. At this point in time there’s no reason to support farms that aren’t using a sustainable way of farming.

The people at Red Shirt Farms are super!!!The vegis are super .and we should know as we are basically vegetarian and we are very particular about our vegis.It is a perfect way to end a Tuesday - picking up our share at Red Shirt Farm.Also a shout - out to the person(s) who write the newsletter.
