We went with our nine month old son. It's more for active kids to run around. A little noisy and chaotic just for a place to picnic so I would only go there on Thursday if you have kids that want to run around

Went to Thursdays on the Lawn which run on Thursday evenings from June through September. It's an awesome JP family event with food trucks, a beer garden and tons of kids running around. Great vibe at a great spot.

Kinda cool that this revolutionary war era home still exists more or less unchanged in the middle of a trendy street. They do some fun lawn events
