This place is the best!! The owner does great work, has good prices, and can get items back to you quickly, plus he’s very friendly. He’s hemmed my wedding dress, formalwear, and casual items. I’d absolutely recommend.

I’m not that impressed. The guy is nice but seems unwilling to say anything will actually work. He sent me home twice to hand wash a dress and said he’d dry clean it after, but literally im doing all the work now. What is the point of dry cleaning something that’s already clean? Also when I brought something in for mending he said his alterations person could “try” something. Seems like he’s throwing up his arms and saying “well just don’t expect much” every time I go in. Which so far has resulted in me just taking my stuff out of there again instead of leaving it with him. I’m not saying he should be psychic, but surely as this is his trade he should be able to say with reasonable confidence “this will work” or “it won’t”. After 4 visits ending the same way, I’m going to take business elsewhere.

About the only place to get shirts laundered on hangers at a reasonable price in Jamaica Plain. Everywhere else seems to only do dry cleaning or wash and fold.

I really wanted to like this place because the owner seemed nice and it's close to my house. Unfortunately, I had two bad experiences here. Once I had clothes dry cleaned and they came back smelling awful (not dirty or clean but like a very strong perfume). The second time I took a bridesmaid dress in to get hemmed. I should have known it was a bad idea when he didn't have me try it on but just asked how much I wanted cut off. When I went to pick up the dress, first of all he wasn't planning on giving me back the 3-5 feet of fabric he cut off until I demanded it (to make matching accessories) and when I got home to try on the dress is was completely uneven! Not only was the left side shorter than the right, but the sheer layer on top was shorter than the layer underneath. When I called to complain, he actually tried to tell me that I asked for it that way!!

Another happy customer. Amazing, friendly service. I took several things in for cleaning and he happily, patiently answered all my questions about the different types of cleaning, how the softness wouldn't be affected, etc. On top of that he found ripped seams in multiple pieces and asked if I'd like them fixed, and they were well mended. Later I brought a pair of pants with a bad zipper that I was about to donate, but he was able to do a new zipper no problem!Note that they do alternations but don't pin you - you'd need to provide the measurements you want.tl;dr: this is the only cleaner I'll go to from now on.

The owner seems nice and competent but just know that the sign on the door says open until 3:30 M-F but I rushed to get to the spot by 3:30 twice and was already closed. Once at 3:10 and then by 3:07 and he seemed long gone.

This is my favorite dry-cleaning shop: the owner is the sweetest, friendliest guy. I miss seeing his son playing in the front window, but I guess that's long ago: his kids are all off to college now! The service is wonderful. I hope he gets through the downturn in business due to the pandemic. I'm dry-cleaning things I wouldn't have bothered with before, just for an excuse to give him a bit of business.

Came here to do laundry. I came in with a car seat with my 7 week baby to get quarters first because I wanted to be able to start the machines as soon as I got them full. The guy running the place came out and asked if I'm doing laundry, I said yes I'm about to get it out the car. He proceeded to yell at demanding his quarters back. Followed me to my car yelling and swearing at me while I'm trying to calm down my baby after he made her cry with all his aggressive yelling. He made me feel like he was about to put hands on me. I walked out so fast and definitely didn't feel like doing my laundry there anymore.
