Their primary business is purveyors of all kinds of fresh seafood to restaurants, but their pop-up market, only open a couple days a week, is the absolute BEST place to obtain the freshest seafood. The selection changes with the seasons, and availability.
I love that they support and feature local fisheries and farms.

I love the market, they have the best fish and ingredients. There is not a better place to buy fish, period. I have to say, I sorely miss the Café' and the dinner nights Chrissi had. There wasn't a better place to go to for lunch and everybody was just so nice. If you are reading this at Ipswich Shellfish, please reopen ASAP!!!

All around fantastic place. Customer service is stupendous! Everyone was very friendly and informative. Very clean facilities. Fresh and amazing seafood supplies. Hi I just called the company ( 12:25 P.M. ) Monday. Inquiring about an add I saw, $4.99 a pound for lobsters. The woman I spoke to was rude, condescending, an not interested in answering my questions. I was trying to ask more questions, but she said " ok bye " and hung up. While i was in the middle of asking a question. As far as I'm concerned the lady and the company can choke on their lobsters. First and last time I will ever contact the Ipswich shellfish company.
