The man who seems to be there 7 days a week is pleasant always treats the regulars well. Great place for lottery beer wine and whatever else you might need. The last few times I've been the man behind the counter talks on the phone the whole time you are there never greets you or says thanks for the business. Doesn't seem to care that you came. Maybe it's time to go somewhere else.

Don't let the aesthetic this place has mislead you. I used to go to DJ's very regularly and the service has gone bad to worse. I have never seen either owner wear a mask since the pandemic started. They used to have sings EVERYWHERE inside and outside that all said "NO MASK NO SERVE," yet the owners don't wear masks themselves. Secondly, the prices are absolutely ridiculous. They hardly have any visible price tags so I never know how much my purchase is prior to getting the register. I can recall going in to get Sour Patch Kids. The pack was unlabeled on the shelves, and when I got to the register, it rang in at $3. I could've went to any other convenience store on the North Shore and purchased an identical pack at $1, not $3. The prices at DJ's are absurdly high in general, not just the candy. Lastly, I have witnessed the owners sell alcohol to minors on several separate occasions. He never asks to see an ID, especially if you're an attractive young woman. The aesthetic is great, but this is a terribly run business.

Unique beer selection, super friendly staff, relaxing music always on, and somehow they always have the random sundries we can't find elsewhere.
