Nice shelter staffed by cat lovers. Helped me find a kind and loving cat. They write an interesting newspaper and also have loving descriptions for the cats on Petfinder. My one complaint is that some of the employees care too much about finding the cats perfect homes. Sometimes they overlook less stable people. Other than that they are great.

I got denied because "im not financially ready because im 22 and live with a family member"I work full time and hate to say, housing isnt an easy thing now a days so yes, I do live with family. Getting denied because "im 22 and live with family" is insane to me. I had everything ready to go and saved up but they expect you to be rich and if your in your early 20s then forget itNot to mention the ridiculous questions they ask. Even though I would be the owner they asked family if they were ready to take care of it after im done and factored that into the decision. Please, go to a real shelter and not this oneJust like these other reviews, Judy was the one who decided to insult me.

Me and my fiancé went in to find kittens and the whole adoption situation was so unprofessional and unorganized. We were ultimately left in a room waiting for half an hour only for them to ask us unbelievably stupid questions such as if we broke up who would keep the cat! Never coming back.

They discriminate against seniors My parents were showed several cats and kittens. They bonded with a kitten after about 20 minutes with her and then decided to adopt only to be told they were too old!! Why show them the kittens or cats and get people excited if you have no intention to let them adopt…. Maybe you should screen people first before showing them Animals and getting them Excited !!!! SO Wrong!!

Judy handles the applications. Judy wanted to know where my husband works and his position. Proof of income wasn't sufficient for her. Judy wanted my cat from 1997 whose now dead-vets name. I dont have that information. When I said “I’d like to retract my application I’m not comfortable.” Judy proceeded to call me a “idiot.”I want to adopt a cat. Im not asking for a mortgage preapproval. Just needs to retire.

Shelter is disorganized and should have electronic applications that can we done online. I Think application should be done and approved before meeting the animals. They also need to communicate more during the whole process. I honestly have been turn off from adopting from a shelter because after my experiences so far. I honestly think it it easier to apply for a job then to get a cat from a shelter.

I am disappointed that they didn’t call me back when I reported an injured bird on the side of the road. The other birds were crying around it and when they couldn’t help, they flew away.
