I love this antique shop! The pieces for sale are more high-end and stylish than some other antique stores I’ve been to. I’d recommend this store for anyone looking for great vintage decor, rather than classic toys or clothes. Just be weary that this is a one-man shop, so hours can vary based on his availability. But if you’re exploring downtown Hudson, this store is definitely worth a visit.

Love going to Barry Barton ! The antiques are absolutely fabulous and so is the shop owner. Very knowledgeable and such a great selection. The store has something for everyone. It’s a definite must stop when you’re in beautiful downtown Hudson, Massachusetts.

Rarely if ever open, even with posted hours on food we’ve stopped by at times when they’re supposed to be opened and there’s been nobody there. Truthfully the few times I’ve managed to go in when someone was there prices were very high. The lack of hours and clear lack of people working doesn’t help the vibe that this place isn’t great.

I have had the most terrible experience with this store. I purchased a glass decanter that was a little dirty when I bought it; It wasn't cheap, $50. So I asked the clerk specifically if I would be able to use it and he said "Absolutely, this will clean right up with a little wash." I was hesitant to buy it because I really wanted to be able to use it but he assured me it would be fine. I drove 30 minutes back to the store to try and return it and when I got there the store was closed. I missed the sign that said it was closed because an associate got covid, so I called the number that was listed on the sign that had the store hours. The person who answered was extremely rude when I explained I was looking to return the glass decanter that wouldn't, he basically laughed and me and said "iT's An AnTiqUe." It was as if my ask was absurd and I was rude for even asking. I explained the situation when I bought it that I was told it would clean up and I would be able to use it. I honestly have never been spoken to so rudely by someone I was doing business with. He clearly doesn't stand by his products or care about customer service. I understand times are challenging and running a business is extremely difficult. I have a lot of sympathy for that, but I DO NOT have sympathy for someone who treats their customers so rudely. I won't ever be back.

Call before you visit. It's presently 12:59 pm on a Thursday and they are not open. We drove 40 minutes out of our way to visit.

Eclectic yes but more like the original design eye of Ralph Lauren with oars, yellowed books and wooden discus's when he was establishing a background look for his interior work. Essentially a higher priced version of any country store.
