UPDATE: A very concerned Weston employee contacted me to find out x exactly what the problem was with my delivery. I was pleasantly surprised at her concern about my order and wanting to make it right. I'm so happy they reached out to me to deliver what they thought was equitable about 10 additional pieces of seasoned and wanted to ensure I updated my review.
I ordered a 1/4 chord of seasoned firewood. The pieces were very small and I did NOT receive a full 1/4 chord. My Woodrack holds exactly a quarter chord, by my estimate measuring, I'm short about 36 pieces! There was plenty of sticks and debris in my delivery as well. I made it a point when ordering to do so in person and to actually see what they were selling. Won't order again, big mistake!

Supporting local businesses is important to me but our delivery and overall buying experience with this location was easily one of the worst I’ve ever had with a local business.
We came in at the end of August to schedule delivery for a tree we had transported from the Lincoln location (where we had a very positive experience) and for a couple of other things. At that time, we found a beautiful stone in the closeout area. We located an employee to help us and ended up with three employees who confirmed which rock we wanted (one put his hand on the rock to clarify and said he would move it to the area with our existing order). It was round (oval-shaped) and smooth overall.
Firstly, this location has one person to coordinate all deliveries. She called once on Labor Day two days after our purchase; my husband returned the call the next day and again the day after, then called the nursery directly and found out that she would be out for ~4 more days (until the following Monday) and no one could schedule our delivery until then. This meant our order could not be delivered until we returned from going out-of-state, delaying our ability to plant anything. Delivery was also fairly pricey, $100 for a ~25 minute drive (we paid another local nursery $20 to deliver our Japanese maple ~15 minutes).
When my husband was finally able to speak to this person, she insisted he give a specific landmark to drop the order at. She would not take no for an answer and apparently “head of driveway” was not specific enough. He finally offered to place a “plow stake” at the delivery coordinator’s insistence, and when the order was delivered, the delivery driver seemed baffled by the odd directions and told my husband that the delivery instructions said something like “place near plow”.
Imagine our disappointment and surprise when we went outside to check out our order we had looked forward to for two and a half weeks, which we had described to family while looking at Japanese gardens, and discovered that they had delivered the wrong rock entirely.
When my husband called initially to let them know we had received the wrong rock, he was met with the response, “I don’t see how [employee’s name] would have delivered the wrong thing”, naming an employee who was not one of the three we pointed out the rock to and immediately effectively shifting the blame to us. This employee wasn’t able to help with the order so my husband was told he would receive a call back the next day, which he did.
My husband explained the situation, and the person on the phone talked to the employee who had helped us with the rock who said he had tied a ribbon around the rock and placed it next to the tree we had ordered. The rock we received had no ribbon. The person on the phone asked my husband for a photo of the rock, which he offered to send later as he was at work. My husband asked for a photo of the area we had purchased the rock to see if the one we had chosen and paid for was still there and the person on the phone said he was too busy. My husband was told that if we wanted to return or exchange the incorrect rock, it would be on us to transport it back to the nursery. He sent the photo hoping it might provide some clarity and/or prompt them to actually help us locate the rock we paid for or come to an agreeable resolution, but the only response he received was that he would give us a great deal on an additional rock (???) or that we could still return it ourselves.
My husband required a neighbor’s help to lift the heavy rock into our car. We made the trip to the nursery just to look for the rock we loved and had paid for, which was not there. We checked the delivery area and it was not there, either. It took the employee at the register a while to locate our order information but we were able to receive a refund.
This was a heartbreaking, disappointing and unprofessional experience. It would have made a world of differen

We had Weston Nurseries out to do a complete overhaul of our front yard in July. Within days, some of the plantings began to die (they are now completely dead). I have contacted WN 4 times to see what the path forward is. I never heard back, which is very frustrating, given how much we spent. I guess I will have to replace these plantings at my own expense in the spring. Different nursery, of course.

I want to love this place. The selection is pretty wide, the people are great. But every time I've brought plants home from this place in the last year or year and a half, I've gotten a mealy bug outbreak. Half the time, I end up having to very seriously rehab my new plant because it's infested - but it doesn't seem to be when I buy the plant. I know it's from here because I moved house and got rid of a lot of plants. I was living for months with no mealy bugs. Bought a plant here and they were back, I thought it was strange but then I noticed that the affected plants were adjacent to the new plant. I brushed it off as a one off and forgot about it. Same thing happened a few months later. It wasn't until the third time this happened that I realized the source. I've lost some good soldiers to mealy bugs, I've spent a lot of money with this place for plants that have serious pest issues. I can't recommend it. The photos I attached are the most recent infestation battle - after insecticide, but you can see the plants have lost so many leaves and the stalks are covered.
#Edit: Weston did reach out to me about this and we had a good conversation. I will reiterate, the staff there is really outstanding. If you need small gifts, ceramics, even air plants (not prone to mealy bugs), they are worth the visit.

I tried to get sod here 4 times. I was told the would get more in on Tuesday/wens. I called on Thursday to give them time to get it in and they had sold all of it to one customer. They refused to simply tell me when it was coming in. I went to Briggs nurseries and they were extremely helpful, had it in stock and even helped me load it. To say I was disappointed with Weston would be an understatement.

Great selection - and extremely warm and knowledgeable staff! The greenhouse is fantastic - love browsing on a cold winter day and bringing home something green for inside the house. Heading back soon for spring planting selections. We’ve never had any plants or trees from Weston’s die on us, even though we do all the planting ourselves. We always trust the people and products here, and so can you!

My first visit here to this magical hidden gem! I was delighted to find the holiday shop in full swing. This girl loves some Christmas! The decor was inspiring and absolutely beautiful. They know how to use their space and take advantage of every inch, without being cluttered or tacky. There is so much to see in the main room that I walked around twice. Several full size trees were decorated with different themes. Ornaments galore to suit anybody's taste. Then, I headed to the greenhouse. First, though, I had to pass thru a magical room filled with an array of lighted, sparkling snow globes! Magical. The next room was wall to all swags and wreaths - all shapes and sizes. Finally, I reached the greenhouse, which did not disappoint. It was much less about Christmas, but filled with beautiful plants, succulents and other garden delights and decor. The staff was friendly, greeting me warmly and answering questions freely. There was even a nice pair of restrooms available. I purchased a small trinket for a gift and the checkout was pleasant. They have a rewards program, which was explained briefly and I was registered in no time. Instantly, I had coupons in hand for future visits. My gift was lovingly wrapped and bagged. I lingered outdoors to enjoy some tastefully arranged decorations and a small collection of live trees. The outdoor area was largely unused in this post-growing season visit, but I could easily imagine how lovely it must be in spring and summer! I'll be back to find out!

My mother and father orderd a $800 tree we were told to open the hole in the ground where it were to be placed and the smart people who dropped it off completely ignored the giant hole in the front on the yard and put the tree at the top of our drive way thanks!!
