Poor quality work. Could not properly complete a routine brake job after 2 attempts. They do not keep records of their work and do not stand behind it. Customer service is very poor as well. Took my vehicle to a more qualified firm to completely replace all of the brake components that they supposedly installed, twice!!!

Great, locally owned repair shop. The owner is funny. He can be gruff, but he is a great guy. They are honest and their prices are fair. They have never tried to up sell me. They are honest and minimize the expense.

Took car in to get a slow puncture fixed. $25 later I asked how long does it last - answer "forever". Next day noticed tire had lost 2 psi. After several days it had lost 7 psi so I took it back. This 7 year old car had never had a puncture of any sort - very low mileage. They said they found "another" puncture - $15. Odds of getting 2 punctures in 4 days - maybe 100 million to 1? Best of all - it still had a slow puncture. So in the end I took it to a well known tire shop. They removed the tire and examined it - conclusion it isn't repairable because the original fix was done incorrectly and it cannot be replugged. So a new tire needed. I will not be going back - ever!!

I went in with a check engine light on and turns out there was something wrong with my transmission. John told me that I would save money going to the dealership to get it fixed because of something that I don't fully understand. His integrity impressed me. I think most people probably would have just taken the job to make a buck even knowing that i could've saved money elsewhere. He's trustworthy

RAV4 for an oil change and to have the rear brakes checked. I also need my car inspected . When I returned to pick the car up I was hit with a $1400 bill and the inspection hadn’t been done. Had to drive all the way back in rush-hour traffic to get it done.Took my Lincoln in to have it looked over and in to get the oil changed. I was told that it needed at least $1400 on the rear brakes. It kind of struck me that $1400 was the popular pricing with the station,I decided to take the Lincoln into another garage for a second opinion on the rear brakes . They were not needed! In fact, I needed a new tire rod on the right front. I knew of the tire replacement need, no mention of a tire rod was ever discussed or brought to my attention by this company. Not being a mechanic- I figure a tire rod is probably important. No alignment was brought to my attention either. As a woman I find this highly discouraging. I expect to be treated honestly when dealing with local businesses. As a local business owner I can say reputation is everything.Services: Brakes

I've been coming here since 2011. I trust John. When the dealer said my whole car needs replacing John tells me the issue their reporting is common and the vehicle has lots of life left. When we had to make a big fix or trade-in decision with our cars he looked them over and gave us a professional opinion about their fitness, which again helped us save money. I sort of laugh when I see bad reviews complaining the place is expensive. The way I look at it, having a mechanic I can trust is priceless.

John is an honest mechanic that is fair priced and good at what he does. In this day Main St service is one in a dying breed. John didn't charge me for a misdiagnosed issue that he ordered a part for because it's "just not good business and I can't take money for a job I didn't complete." If you want an honest and fair estimate go to John and Main St service. Highly recommend.
