I had an issue with a dead mouse in my car. Whoever I spoke to was knowledgeable and told me exactly where to look for it and what to do. Every other place I contacted wanted me to bring the car in for service. I found the poor little mouse within minutes and took care of the problem myself. Thank you!

I first was introduced to Ashland Motors over 20 years ago, when they were over on Alden Street in Ashland. Dean and his crew worked on all 4 of our various Volvo's, (my wife's XC70 and our '79 245, then again working on our '82 242 turbo). When they moved to their current location, we continued to use Dean, where they worked on our '02 XC70.We have since moved away from the area, but the knowledge the shop has in working on all forms of vehicles is outstanding and you will be hard pressed to find a more reasonable shop anywhere around!Services: Transmission

Small car mechanic with a big heart. Dean and his staff always want to help and fix. They fun very busy but always worth it. I have been going for years. I made an appointment and he couldn’t take me for weeks. Then my car problem got worse and he took me sooner to fix my car!

Dean & his crew have always helped me to get my vehicles up & running with quick & skilled service. Have been taking my truck there for years & my Porsche too. Dean is an excellent foreign motors professional. I can just tell him what trouble I'm having & he identifies it immediately. Never have the same trouble twice once he corrects it. Completes work in the time he quotes, has competitive rates & the vehicle is off & running. Reliability is a good feeling when I need dependable transportation. Highly recommend Ashland Motors.

I personally have not had a reason to use Ashland Motors in a few years. I was there today to help a friend who was dropping off her car for service My friend has used Dean's services for years... not only for her two cars but hrr daughters car...When I have used his services I have always been very happy with everything. Dean's work has always been professional, on time and fairly priced.

Dean is as honest as they come. He has serviced my 3 Volvos for many years and the work has always been superior and there is never a upsell. Trust does not come easy with auto shops but I know I can leave him my keys and not worry. Score Card Honesty. A+ Knowledge A+ Fixed Right First Time A+ Pricing A+ If you can't score your mechanic like above then take your vehicle to Ashland Motors. You will thank me BTW His shop is not close to me but the drive is well worth it and you will think so as well

Dean does great work and is a pleasure to do business with. He put new springs and shocks on my diesel excursion and gave it a new lease on life. He used to do all the work on my wife’s Volvo. After getting the run around at the area Volvo dealers, finding Dean was a godsend!!
