“I am so happy to see this place is still open. I bought a car here in 2000ish. Doc sold me a 1980something Chevy Beretta for $1600. He “financed” it for me. A very broke, mom of two, working her way through college.We went for a test drive. He told me, “I sell cheap cars to poor people.” Ya know what? In my case at least, he was spot effing on.I paid him weekly and that damn car lasted me years.Anyhow, twenty three years later, this is probably the one and only time I bought a great car for a fair price from someone I not only respected, but remember fondly.That favor helped me finish my degree. And buy my family a home. And on and on…Thanks for helping the little folks when it seems the whole world is out to get us”
