I've tried this place twice in the last few years and was not listened to very well by the stylist. She did what she wanted and not what was asked. Both times!

Had a really bad experience he start of Memorial Day weekend that Friday it's the 2nd time it's happen I'm done been going to a certain stylist for afew years now and she used to listen on what I was reaching for on a certain blonde color after giving the hairdresser another chance huge mistake on my end. Appointment was at 4 o'clock and didn't get seen until 5:15 glad I have patience also the prices went up and she didn't even bother to ask if I wanted to come back so it can be fixed. Did end up getting it done again still not good lucky I just found a new hairdresser that could fix the problem thank god. Place is run down not sure why I have wasted my money on this dump when I've could've went and paid basically same amoumt of money for a better updated salon listen learned.

200$ for a full bayalage, cut & style...hairdresser started asking if a partial highlight was wanted around the face.. I'm not sure if hairdressers are unaware of what they are booked for or if she was trying to be lazy, or what, but seemed not to have a clue. Color is brassy, not toned. I won't be back to this salon unfortunately.

The photo studio was an hour behind even with reservations, so expect to wait. Understaffed.

This is about the salon.I wish I could leave no stars. Avoid this salon at all costs.I needed a root blending to match the rest of my hair and also wanted a toner to remove the yellow. After showing the stylist and I use that term loosely as she should not be doing color, two photos of the color I was looking for she says she is going to do two colors and a toner so ok since the photo had about three different shades of blonde I agreed and she quoted $200 .that's what I pay for full foil highlights that are dimensional and some balyage with toner. What she did was put bleach on my scalp (roots) after rinsing she had bleached the roots yellow/white and she said no worries I'm doing the toner now Well the toner didn't work and she used another toner and I was still left with a streak of whitish yellow roots. I asked to speak to the manager who said well let's do another toner but after being there for 3 hours I said no that's enough the woman doesn't know what she's doing and should not be doing color. She was too lazy to do foil highlights which any reputable salon would have done as I had it done many times but wanted the same amount of money as foils.I don't know what's going on at that salon but avoid Young she shouldn't be doing color. It cost me $300 to get everything fixed and get my roots deep conditioned as she damaged them with bleach and my scalp was pink and itchy for days. I am contacting an attorney to get back the cost of fixing that mess along with the emotional distress it caused me. .

I had terrible experiences at Ulta so I tried my luck at Jcpenney salon since I was told by a lot of friends to try out this place and its pretty easy to book last minute appt online. I found Sasha, she knows her things and my hair came out great with a reasonable cost (I was ripped off at Ulta and my hair was 100% different to what I asked for) I’ll definitely come back to Jcpenney for hair again. The staff is very friendly too. I’m not sure why people complain here but maybe I’m not a picky client lol

I had a great experience with Young. I'm an experienced hairdresser so I definitely wanted a stylist who could give me a solid professional haircut and she certainly delivered. I would recommend her to anyone, her skills are top notch and I had a great conversation with her. Go for Young! She's awesome.Service: Haircut
