Beautiful salon and beautiful staff. They do a great job and the owner is a miracle worker with my hair. Always a great experience from start to finish. They all go out of their way to make sure you’re happy. If you’re looking for a new salon give them a try you won’t regret it.

Please do not go here, one of the younger staff ended up frying my hair into oblivion. They might dispute that my hair was pre-processed, but that is WHY I went to a “professional”. I was given no warning or explanation of what might happen during the process (I now know after speaking with other hairstylists that every stylist should give detailed explanations of what they are doing, what might happen, and alternative color options if the goal isn’t realistic) . I asked for a gentle color remover and instead they used bleach. My hair was literally falling out in my hands and the stylist was rude and defensive when I brought up my concern. I lost so much hair that day. It turned grey/white (not what I asked for) and 2 months later it still won’t hold color well. The owner did try to fix it, but hair that far gone can’t really be repaired. They also gaslit me into thinking it was my fault (no customer comes in trying to get their hair wrecked…) Some of the other stylists (during my follow up conditioning treatments to try to fix it) were clearly pissed that I had complained and got water all over my back and were digging their nails into my head. They were super sarcastic and just bullies. Details about my side of the story blew up on a blog post with hundreds responses from stylists around the world saying that what happened was NOT normal and consequentially ended up on a US SUN article. The Department of Licensure ended up investigating the salon. Just please, go to one of the senior stylists if you plan on going here for anything color related…. Or go somewhere else.

What a great experience! The place is clean and beautiful! Jacob is great, he is down to earth , kind, and talented. I doubt that I will go anywhere else…ever. Highly recommend!

Was looking for a new salon and I deff Have found my new hair home! I see meg and from day one we just clicked! She got the color I envisioned right off the bat! She is great with blonde! Was willing to fix any little issue with it being trial and error for my first full highlight with her, we did a partial the time before. It’s nice to have a stylist understand and willing to go above and beyond to make you love your hair! The conversation is top notch as well!

I've been looking for a new salon and was hoping to find a keeper, unfortunately this place is definitely not that. First of all, I own that I made a mistake. This is a mistake that I have never made before; I missed my appointment. The second I realized, I called and apologized profusely and explained what happened. It was completely unintentional and I felt terribly. it was the end of an absolutely crazy week and my brain was scrambled. The woman I spoke to was nice about it and rescheduled me. What she failed to tell me is that they were going to charge my card for $165. The next week when I saw the charge on my account, I called them and left a message. Three days later, I called again and left another message. Three days later, again. I wanted to make sure that charge was for my upcoming appointment, since no one had expressed to me that I was going to be charged a cancellation fee. Mind you, I would understand 50 or even $75 but to charge the full amount of the appointment is extreme to me I felt really bad that I messed up, but it's unacceptable to just charge your card when you could easily enough notify the person that you were going to do so. They didn't get back to me for two weeks. When she did finally get back to me, she said that this was the cancellation policy and insisted that I had that information before hand. I explained that I was not going to be able to afford another appointment due to this charge. She said this was coming from the owner and that was that. Look, I know I wasted the time of the stylist, and I feel really bad for that. But this is the first time in my life this happened and it was not intentional. Their lack of communication and lack of compassion is why I won't be ever patronizing this business. They could've had long-term business from me had they done a good job, but instead, they chose to take my cancellation fee and run. Not so smart if you ask me.

Genuinely the best haircut and haircut experience I’ve had. Jordyn was so kind and my hair came out looking amazing. They were super friendly when I arrived and gave me some coffee to sip on while my hair was trimmed.The hair mask + scalp massage was life changing and my hair looks incredible. I’ve already gotten many compliments and it’s been an hour since I left.

I went not even a week ago to get my eyelashes done and to be honest I’ve been going here for a while never had any complaints but this time I can say it has been the worst eyelash extensions I’ve ever got the next day my eyelashes starting shedding and literally the second by right eye had no eyelashes buys and pieces I looked very stupid Bcz the left one had a whole bunch left two days later the left ones started to fall offf as well I can say I will never go back there ever again, I reached out by Instagram even sent them a picture and nobody has reached out $100 down the drain now I have to go elsewhere to fix this mess I have on my eyes!!Service: Eyelash extensions

Amazing! Rachel is amazing. She saved my dead, fried hair from the point of almost no return. Iv always had nothing but awful experiences every time I would go to a salon.. but these professionals absolutely go above a beyond. They made me so comfortable and definitely helped me get over my fear. I will absolutely return and can promise.. I will never ever color my own hair again lol. The manager forbids me to go there because another stylist said that she is not a good fit for me. When I asked to see another stylist instead and pay full price up front, she never called me back after she said that she would. Poor customer service. Tina is amazing!! My first time going here and will definitely return. I told her what I wanted, a barely shoulder length cut with face framing pieces, and she made it happen. Didn’t even show a reference picture. She even styled my hair for me after and she also spent a while washing my hair and massaging my scalp (which is the best part of a hair cut, is it not??). I’m looking forward to checking out what else Carve has to offer as far as facials and nail services. Can’t wait to book my next visit ?Services: Haircut

My favorite salon. The people are very friendly, prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is amazing. I moved from Holyoke and still prefer to travel to Carve for my hair appointments.
