Ian the plumber was professional, courtesy and efficient, completed the job in less than 30 minutes. The pricing was upfront and very expensive. If I didn't use a $50 online coupon, this would have been a $500+ repair. If you have the time, my recommendation would be to shop around for a better value. It was a relatively simple job, I don't believe a company should bilk their new customers. I will not be back and will not recommend to others. Nicholson should seriously evaluate whether short term profits are worth not having repeat business.

It feels like my home alone is funding their numerous billboards on Route 9. In 2017, we purchased a brand new seven-head Mitsubishi heat pump system from Nicholson, costing approximately $27,000. After installation, one room never cooled properly from the start, and without fail, the system broke down every summer, usually during the hottest week. In the past three years alone, we've spent over $14,000 maintaining a system that is barely seven years old, and we know there are additional invoices we've lost track of in-between 2017 and 2022 after the merger. Just 30 days after paying $4,500 to fix yet another issue, the entire compressor on that very same unit failed. This comes just two years after we had to replace another compressor within the system and pay for the labor as well. How can TWO compressors fail in under seven years? It's either due to incompetent technicians or lemon systems being sold. Our system has now been down since August, and I've had to follow up several times to get the same answer - "Part is still in transit." And yes, we typically use our system for heat. So now on top of all these expenses we've incurred to try to keep this system running, we're burning more oil than we ever have - $700 a month. The entire reason we installed mini-splits was to avoid burning expensive oil. (Yes, we have solar.) There's zero urgency on their part. There's no timeframe to get this fixed for us. It feels like one big shoulder shrug. This used to be a family owned company that cared about their customers. In the meantime we're still waiting. Highly recommend going elsewhere.

Customer Satisfaction Feedback: I am very pleased with the technician, Brian Meek. He was timely, professional, informative, and incredibly humble. However, I am extremely disappointed with the 24-hour emergency service team. I called twice, was on hold for a long time, and no one ever showed up. We were left in the cold, which is especially concerning as my wife has health issues that are aggravated by low temperatures. Brian came to service my furnace in the morning next business day. This experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing, especially since I had already paid for the service. I can't help but feel that if I were a new customer calling for emergency service, someone would have responded promptly.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! A plumber from Nicholson came to our home to assess a leak. For this assessment, we were charged about $90 (which isn't atypical). We were told by the plumber that his supervisor would give us the quote the following morning and someone would be able to come and fix it that day. We never received the quote. My husband was on hold with the company for 45 minutes. I tried and miraculously got through. We were told they'd send the quote the next day. It's been a week and a half and we still haven't received the quote, nor have we even heard from someone telling us when we'll get the quote. Each time we call, we speak to someone else to forwards us to someone new who says we will get the quote shortly. We paid about $90 and never received the quote, which makes this feel like one big scam.

We had quite the urgent situation last night; our bathroom sink burst, spraying water everywhere! One quick call after hours to Nicholson and they were here within an hour and got right to work. I was worried it was a bad pipe and a busted faucet, but our technician was fair and honest with us, putting my worst fears at ease. The end result is beautiful! If you have an emergency plumbing problem, I definitely recommend Nicholson.

Steve and Adrian came by for routine maintenance. Steve was very helpful in preparing me of some options down the road since the system is getting up in age. Steve was very direct but not pushy about possible options in the next few years in preparing. Nicholson since using the last few years has been wonderful.

I had both an electrician (Roy Nelson) and a plumber (Nick Brodeur) over to help me out with my basement and they were both absolutely the most amazing tradesmen I have ever worked with. Took the time to explain what was needed and even contacted the town inspectors to confirm requirements. Did not push any products or services and even referred me elsewhere in a case where they were unable to help. Went well above and beyond my expectations. We’re really genuinely keen to help out and ensure I was comfortable in my home. Will definitely use their services again, and recommend to all.

Brendan was one of the absolute best technicians I have had from Nicholson. He took the time to explain things to me, and go over options with me. He was exceptionally kind and extremely knowledgeable. I will be requesting him for all our future HVAC related visits

Kyle the technician was excellent very helpful. But i feel as though i was lied to from the company. Last April a technician came out for the same issue and fixed the problem right away i was only charged around 197 dollars. Then i call to have a tech come out they tell me it’s going to be 89 dollars per drain and it’s one drain. The tech comes out tells me to do the work it’s gonna be 567 dollars and i say no then he say they might be able to do it for 264 dollars if he calls his manager and i say i think I’ll find someone else, then proceeds to tell me either way i have to pay them 89 dollars so i went ahead and had them do the service anyways because they 89 isn’t applied on top of the 264. The technician all thought he gave a ton of effort was not able to fix the problem i have no issue with the technician but the company lying to me about the price then over charging me right off the gate and as soon as i tell them no they come down to half the price so they were gonna let me pay double with out any hesitation. By this negative review this was at no fault from the technician he was a pleasure to deal with and he tried very hard to fix the problem.
