We moved MA to the south. Very expensive. Our move was a nightmare in every possible way. We have more damages than we can count and no one cares one bit. Claims dept cover their bases. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY NOR RECOMMEND.

They were the affiliate contracted via Atlas Van Lines for our move from MA to CA. if you are in the able hands of Kevin Carson, you are pretty much assured of a seamless and smooth move. He did our house visit, estimated the weight and set up a time date for the move. 24 hours before the move logistics are confirmed so that everyone is on the same page. The 3 young gentlemen who came for the loading and packing were lightning-quick, efficient and no-nonsense, our 1 BR townhouse was packed up in about 3 hours and they were out. Once in their warehouse, our stuff was repacked, tagged and taped to withstand travel wear and tear. Overall we had a great experience with New England Household Moving.

I called them today when the movers I hired didn't show up for a good sized move. Within an hour I had two professional and friendly movers at my new apartment who unloaded the entire truck in a little over an hour. I can't recommend this company highly enough and will definitely hire them for my next move.

Simply Superb! The truck arrived on time, the workers did an exceptional job in 90+ temps, very hot and humid. They were courteous, professional, and conscientious. Outstanding work ethic, set up was efficient and work space was neat. Highly recommend!

It's so nice to hear from the client that I sent you recently for a move. I want to thank you for taking such good care of her. You helped move this woman from the South Shore to Virginia. As expected, it was a stressful time for her. Your excellent staff showed patience and good humor throughout. They packed her up and got her on her way. She is very happy. Thank you!!!

We could not have been more pleased with our recent moving experience provided by NEHMS. The crew of four highly professional and experienced movers loaded our furniture and boxes onto two trucks packed to the gills and they did so good naturedly, respectfully, and extremely efficiently. I didn't choose these guys, they were the subcontractor for my overseas moving company. I could tell while they were moving the things out of my house that they were clueless and I really paid the price once the container was unsealed in Israel and we saw everything. I don't even know how reckless you'd have to be to do the damage they did. Carved moldings broken off an antique bar, a Queen Anne foot sheared off a dresser, stemware actually shattered inside the packed boxes, etc. Plus, moving in a 20' container means fitting everything in as best you can. These geniuses wrapped up a doggie cot/bed that was new in the box in layers of padded paper which doubled the bulk of something that basically couldn't break. They also used my husband's tools without asking and didn't put them back in the case, and made us panicky the whole time by saying we had too much to fit in our container and ended up leaving a box behind that we then had to deal with separately. In the end there was plenty of room in the container. I called Debra as this was happening but it didn't change anything. Just absolutely terrible.

The rude petulant kids who drive the vans have no problem with causing a safety hazard. Because their parking space was taken, they had no problems with just parking in a major street, one lane in both directions, almost causing collisions as cars and trucks tried to get around it during rush hour. Their attitude was that since they were inconvenience, they had the right to inconvenience others, and couldn't be bothered to find a parking spot while their problem was worked out.
