We kept the “grinch” toes and both Sherlock and we were happy about it!Also they have a great supply of dog treats (and catnip toys that I supply to my in-law’s cat out in Bolton).”

“Let me start by saying this is a five star review unless you have a fish. Hello, welcome to my review of the Popped Pouch. You will think this should be a one star review if you only had a fish, but you will not think it is a one star EXPERIENCE. It's a four Star experience plus one star if you have a cat or dog. This brings it to the fifth star. The P*** Porch has everything you'd dream of if you have dogful/catful fishless inside living. It's small but packed with canine and feline marineless necessities. Cool treats and quirky fun toys for pets as long as they are cats or dogs. They have one employee and sometimes that employee changes but the previous one comes back the next day and the newer one leaves until the first one is done with Jury Duty or whatever. They don't sell any fish food, or it might be in the back or something, just ask the employee if it's the first guy, he might say "no" though. I'm sure he says it in a nice way with a little animal pun joke.”

“We love this place! I have an 11 year old blind, diabetic dog and wouldn't trust anyone else with her. They are very gentle, professional, and reasonably priced. They offer many different grooming services. Debbie takes care of our girl Lucy and always does a wonderful job! I highly recommend them.”

“I can not say enough good things about Paws in Play!! I've been taking my pup here for 7 years now and she absolutely loves it. Whether it's for a day of daycare or boarding, I know that she is well taken care of. Jess and Dave do a great job running this place and keeping things safe for all the dogs that walk through their door. They love each dog like they were their own!! The facebook page and snapchat accounts post pictures and videos of all the dogs having a great time whether its inside or out in the yards. I could not ask for a better place or better people to leave my little girl with while i'm at work or away.”

“Love this store! Colleen and Brittany go out of their way to help me every week. I come here to shop on behalf of a food pantry so I buy a large quantity of wet and dry dog and cat food every time I come. They help me get the best deals to make our limited budget stretch far (our clients love the PSP store brand, which is the best pricing!) Colleen helps me fill my cart, Brittany organizes everything for me at the counter and they both help me load my cart back up, and then Colleen always helps fill my car. They always remind me to put in my phone number and earn rewards - and those add up!! The store is always clean and organized and easy to navigate. I always have a great experience shopping here on the weekends, when other stores are usually so busy and the staff can't make time for anyone. Here, you feel like you're the only customer in the store every time you ask for assistance. Colleen and Brittany work so hard to keep this place running well!”

“My Rottweiler has a spinal injury. I can get him into the tub, and they have a ramp if you need it. The equipment is excellent. I wish my hairdryer was as strong! I like that you get a kit with a towel, a rubber curry comb, a metal comb, and a soft brush. The place is clean. The people are super!! It’s a great business!”

“The staff was super helpful on the phone when I got stuck trying to book the visit on the website. Once we got to the store, that didn't change. The front desk clerk made my son and me feel like we just arrived home, in spite of being in a lot of pain from a recent ankle sprain. The girl who took my dog out back was super friendly too and actually took a minute to say hello to us before taking my dog out back for his trim. Both clearly knew how to handle dogs. The girl doing the trim was able to kindly control a 70 lb mutt, up onto a table to work on him. She was kind, gentle and thorough throughout. I loved the fact that we could watch the whole thing from the windows. My dog is a nervous wreck, but she had him calm in no time, even through the claw cutting. She even buffed his claws down so they weren't sharp after having just been cut. My dog was happy and calm coming out, not scared and looking to bolt. This was a great experience and we'll definitely be back for more, not to mention...recommending to friends.”

“The Vetco in Quincy Center has been a very pleasant surprise. The online scheduling process is very easy. The reminder texts are well thought out so that most of the administration is completed before you step in the front door. Once you arrive, the staff and vets are organized and make for a very smooth experience. All the prices are listed on the website, the packages make sense and are easy to understand. All the receipts and records are emailed to you a few mins after the appointment.Dealing with the local vets in Dorchester and Southie has been a nightmare. They don't list any prices and the prices vary widely for offices within a half or quarter mile of each other. When they do tell you the price, it feels like negotiating with a car dealership. Some vets try to charge additional exam fees, some just gouge new customers. It was especially weird having to ask one vet for a hard copy of the vaccination records so that I'd have a copy. It's the first thing many doggie daycares and groomers ask for and the vet made it seem like my request was out of the ordinary.Feel free to do your own research, but you'll just learn to appreciate how friendly and transparent this Vetco is. We've been back twice and plan to keep coming back. The prices make sense and the experience is excellent. Getting your pet vaccinated should be an easy, quick and straight forward process like this.”
