My family was desperate for some training for our rescue - a 1 y/o Labrador-Beagle mix. She was pulling fiercely on walks, leaping on guests and scratching them, would chase rabbits and squirrels uncontrollably, would pull on leash near other dogs, destroy furniture and stuffed animals. Daisy is lovely, very affectionate but a wild little puppy.I could not spare time during the day to attend any kind of training lessons to bring her to heel. We found the two week residential training to be a good solid step. At one month out from her training, we have seen remarkable progress that has been well imprinted. We learned some things we had been doing wrong, learned corrections to both our and her behavior, and now we can open the front door without worrying about her running off for 4-8 hours out on the town. Recall is solid, and neighbors have noticed.Training seems to be a more traditional style, which may not appeal to some folks. I get that. We live in a different world these days, it seems. But EFFECTIVE is hard to outmatch. For a young family with children and rising expenses, this is a great option of first choice that will yield immediate and long lasting dividends. If you are not a Dual Income, No Kids (DINK) household, and you have serious bills to pay, and need to make a smart investment for value regarding dog training, I can strongly recommend Canine College to you. We got results, and it was worth every penny. This has secured Daisy's long term future with us after a rocky beginning, and I have Bruce, Diane and the team to thank for this.

This place is just a really cute place with everything you might want from a place that takes care of dogs, so it’s nice.

We have a puppy who needs socializing and they told us to bring her in and put her in a half day of daycare. Now we are taking evening puppy kindergarten classes there too. Very nice people. Skilled, and dog lovers. They even help local authorities by boarding dogs who need rescue.

The team here has done wonders over the last couple of years with our anxious, reactive rescue dog. Sean and Robin, along with the whole crew, have spent so much time helping to build his confidence and trust in humans, which has done so much for his ability to enjoy the outdoors, walks, hikes, and in general his quality of life. The facility is family owned. Everyone there has experience with and are comfortable working with larger reactive dogs. They are all gentle and welcoming. Due to his fear aggression, our dog was a bite risk, but the staff here were able to develop trust and handle him in a way no other boarding place was willing to do. The day care and boarding are large enclosures, outside, with only a few dogs each matched on temperament, so our dog actually started playing and making friends, which has never happened before. They have done so much for us and our pup, and we cannot recommend them enough!

My puppy Moutai was a stray and extremely fearful and sometimes fear aggressive. He was scared of everything, especially men and was unable to go on walks even with behavioral medication. He faced the risk of behavioral euthanasia twice as the shelters thought he was not adoptable nor curable. After two 8-week board and train at Canine college (12 months apart), he now walks with confidence and curiosity in our neighborhood. He is very well behaved on walks and we don’t have to use any special collar or forceful tools even though he is a strong 50lbs dog. As he was severely under socialized before his rescue, Canine college exposed him to a variety of trainers, dogs and even farm animals. They also did agility training with him to build confidence and let him sit in the office to be exposed to visitors. I would definitely recommend anyone with a ‘difficult’ case to choose Canine college, they have the resources, experience and time to rehabilitate dogs with severe behavioral challenges.

I picked my dog up after a 2 night stay, July 1st to July 3rd. He was picked up covered in dirt, limping and was extremely scared. I’ve never seen my dog like this. I brought him to the vet straight after and we found blood all over his paws, EACH PAW HAD BLOOD. We gave the poor thing water because he was extremely dehydrated, HE WENT THROUGH 2 GALLONS OF WATER IN ONE SITTING. I’m not done yet, about an hour later he had started throwing up constantly. This place is such a freaking disgrace, my dog hasn’t been able to sleep because he’s been whimpering in pain. If you love your dog dont ever bring them here, I’m disgusted.

Please don’t ever bring your dog here my dog stayed here for 2 nights the second we Brought him out the car he threw up everywhere, he was also limping and covered in dirt. The reason he was limping was because all four of his paws had deep cuts. Also the workers were very rude when I picked him up. My dog has been crying since he got home he’s scared to go out or get up

My dog had an issue with barking at strangers out of fear/nervousness. After 5 lessons (1 per week) he was basically a new dog. Occasional bark now, but nothing like before where it was with every person he encountered. We also were able to work on his pulling and recall to the point where we had put him on a sharp collar, but by graduation he didn’t need it. Excellent training and helping me understand my pup’s behavior. I’ve already committed to resident training here in a few weeks while I’m on vacation to continue his training, I’m sure he will be a new pup at the end of it with how good they are

This place is the worst! Not worth your money whatsoever! The manager and staff are not friendly AT ALL! They are super rude. I went to pick my Yorkie up and I thought maybe they just hadn't gotten around to him yet because he still looked the same as he did before I dropped him off. I asked the manger Robin (whom I believe is the manager) if they could perhaps have someone else do the job, thinking maybe the girl had just started and was inexperienced, but the manager pretty much laughed in my face and told me to leave. I was beyond disbelief for the way not only was my dog treated, but the way I was treated as well. Vey unprofessional and I'm pretty sure they do not give the animals clean water, as I noticed all of the bowls looked like dirty and slimy water. I would recommend anybody to go somewhere else.

Do NOT reccomend this place at all. If I could give 0 reviews I would. My dogs boarded there a couple times and both times they came home smelling so bad of urine and one of my dogs acted as if he hadn't seen the outside in days. NEVER coming back here, save your money.

We left our dog with them for a 1 week in June. He is reactive so he had a thunder jacket on. We can only assume they left it on him the whole week. In June. In 90 degree weather. When we picked him up and removed the thunder jacket in the car, we saw this rash. Brought him in and Bruce kind of just blew it off as a heat rash and put Neosporin on it. A week later it was worse and our dog was throwing up, brought our dog to Urgent care and they took a sample of the bumps. Sent it to the lab. And came back positive for staff infection and e-coli. Will never ever bring our dog or future dogs here again, and will never recommend Canine College again.
