“This is a very nice hardware store, my mom always found them helpful too, but I don't get here often because it's on the other end of town and I have the other town hard ware store right down the street. But I had some errands nearby and took a walk over. Staff were very nice, I asked two/2 different people for help and they brought me over to where I need to look. No pressure, cashier was fast and friendly. Nice variety of merchandise. They are located at a busy intersection, and there is a town parking lot across the street and over a bit, but it's for all the merchants and fills up because of all the nearby restaurants. There is probably some side street parking but to note, some of the streets are quite narrow. #shoplocal #shopindie”

“#womanowned Local hardware store affiliated with the ACE chain so they have their products. Very well stocked and staff, staff are usually friendly and helpful when I have asked for help finding items/had questions. They have seasonal merchandise as well, for Christmas, Summer/grilling, and outside a garden shop with plants in the spring. There is a certain amount/purchase for delivery I believe--but if you buy a certain amount/example bags of mulch they will deliver them! They have outgoing UPS services, not sure if they accept incoming UPS you should call. #shoplocal”

“I went into Richmond Hardware today to find some mechanical bolts and nuts to replace the broken ones on my collapsible camping chair. I was met by the manager/owner(?) who paged an employee to assist me in selecting the proper length and width of the bolts and nuts. Matt examined the broken piece and selected a proper replacement bolt for each of the broken pieces. I thought that I would be spending my afternoon with pliers and a wrench. But to my surprise, Matt attached the bolts and tightened the nuts. I definitely recommend Richmond Hardware for their courteous employees and expert service. Thank you.”

“Amazing! Not in 40 years have I experienced such a professional environment to purchase homeowner landscape equipment. Although their showroom initially appears to be geared to commercial customers, their staff and their knowledge of homeowner concerns are immediately addressed by their friendly staff. From the moment I entered the showroom I got the feeling that regardless of whether you were there to purchase a $5,000 generator or a $250 leaf blower, they treated you professionally and with completeness. Anyone leaving a negative review regarding lack of attentiveness or not handling service issues immediately should reconsider and cut them some slack as they are dealing with "post-COVID" conditions with a lack of skilled labor. Just like the hospitality and food & beverage industry, everyone is dealing with it. “Service is always 5 stars here, the never look and run away like the big chain stores. Old school five star service. they look at you and ask if they can help you find anything. They always make great keys and best price around. Definately check here with auto keys 1st, $20 here. Selection isn't perfect,but if you have the chance to save $70 it's worth a check., $90 and $200 at the dealer these days. Especially if I need a few keys. The vale is greater or better than chain stores. Before looking around for someone to answer a couple of quick questions, a helpful associate seemingly read our minds & magically appeared.. and with all the answers too! “I had purchased a pair of Levolor vinyl roller shades online, and needed the width of each roll trimmed to the perfect size. No one was working in the window treatment area at the time I arrived there, so I pressed a button to call for assistance. Stephen from the Flooring Dept. came over and graciously offered his help. What a great employee! He was polite, knowledgeable, efficient, and attentive. He knew exactly what he was doing, and provided me with prompt and exemplary customer service. Two thumbs way up for Stephen at Lowes store number 1758! These days, it's so hard to get good customer service anywhere, so when I do, I have to give praise where (and to whom) it is due!”
