CLIENT COMPLAINTI have been dealing with a nightmare because of Fidelity. I have been trying to close an account since April of this year. Every time I am told Fidelity has the paperwork needed and we are all set I end up not hearing back for weeks. When I reach out to transfer my funds I am told excuse after excuse as to why the paperwork is not ready. Signature needed in ink not digital signature, date missing, documents not received, portals not working, systems being down, etc. I am horrified by the level of inexperience and unprofessionalism being displayed. I am not sure what I have to do to get my money from these people. It seems they just do not want to close the account so they can continue making money on the investments. My next step is going to be contacting my attorneys and filing a lawsuit against Fidelity and its employees. Do not use these criminals to invest or manage your money. I have worked with Bank of America/Merrill, Chase/JP Morgan, Ameriprise and Stiffel and have never had the issues I am having with Fidelity. BEWARE!
