Nice place. Some groceries, beer, wine, sweets. A variety of soda, etc. interesting sandwich combos. A had a pretty good Reuben. My colleagues had a variety sandwiches that they all liked.

First time there though I've driven by a ton of times. Missed the deli because it was after 4PM so settled for a pre-made sandwich - I was not disappointed! So fresh and yes they use Boars Head - I can't wait to go back - this will be my go to deli. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and after looking around there is so much I want to try!

Great place to grab my young nephews some candy. I like how it's set up. I got the peanut butter protein bites and they were tasty. I would like to go back and get a sandwich!

It might be a small store but it's the spot to stop on Rte. 228. Ice cream, nice area to relax and all sorts of stuff inside. Great people.

Amazing selection and service given the size. Wide array of ready to eat prepared meals, deli, great selection of beer, and on tap coffee. Love this place.

This is for the new Cohasset store. I was so glad Barrel moved into town because we need a small grocery. That's not so much what it is, but you can get simple provisions here. I'm about to go there for half and half, and I've purchased wine here.I wish this was a bit more of a small grocery with more fresh items. I completely understand why it is not at this point---but it could morph into a place with locally grown produce, herbs, and flowers, as well as bread and cook-at-home options. Our only other food-buying options are two large chain markets on the highway and some gas station convenience stores. There IS room for real food in Cohasset. I haven't had the coffee or sandwiches there, as I am accustomed to going to French Memories, Seabird, or the bagel/sandwich place across the street. (In fact, I'm kind of surprised that they are overlapping on this stuff).I have had the soft-serve vanilla ice cream. It was not ideal but good enough that I went back for more two days later--although it's not cheap. The second time I went, it was literally chewy. The fat component of the ice cream mix hadn't emulsified into the mix, so each bite had chewy particles. I brought it back to let the young staff members know (otherwise, how could they?) and I wasn't offered a replacement, but that's OK. I hope this store becomes more distinctive and less of a store duplicating neighboring offerings.

I don't usually write reviews but I can't stress how disgusting each and everyone of their meals is their coffee is disgusting their breakfast sandwiches are disgusting their lunch sandwiches are disgusting everything they make or touches disgusting just had to save someone from buying one of their sandwiches so you're welcome

Great place for a deli sandwich or grab and go breakfast sandwiches. The breakfast sandwiches were freshly made with real fried egg (not formed egg product) on a nice bulkie roll. I liked the self serve nitro and cold brew coffee setup as well. The coffee tasted great and there was everything you needed in the way of cream / milk and sweeteners.

Mel is fantastic. Food and service are always great. Kim is delightful. On the way to work or on the way back or on a Saturday morning craving a treat. All great. Very supportive of local charities. An Inspiring way to start the day.

Delicious soft serve ice cream options with all sorts of toppings. Add in a fresh Del's lemonade stand and you have a great place to rest and snack. Make sure to say "hi" to Ray!
