The entire team at Blue Mercury at Derby is incredible! They are all super friendly, helpful, not pushy at all, always smiling and welcoming! Lisa and Ikram are the absolute best! Lisa actually drove to another BM location to pick up my eye cream for me so that I had it before my work trip! All the way to the Chestnut Hill location! That is impeccable service and true kindness! It makes my day to walk into this store! Such a friendly, positive environment! Just want to add that the Augustus Bader products are the most beautiful products on the market! Thank you Ikram for getting me off my old stale routine to try Bader! The Rich Cream is perfection! ❤️

Love the crew at blue mercury. If you haven’t been in a while you need to try again! The team they have now is so helpful and knowledgeable and never pushy. Ikram is beyond amazing and I even hate putting her name out because i don’t want to share her but she’s too good to not share! Ha- but truly I can’t say enough great things about everyone there. If you need a little pick me I highly recommend!

I don't understand why the staff at this location is so unfriendly and indifferent. I have been to Blue Mercury in others states and they are normal. For some reason this location seems to have propagated a blasé vibe. I switched to ordering online because it was so uncomfortable to go in, but sometimes I need a quick gift and go "in person" only to find out its the same. They ignore you, they dont help you find things, they act irritated when you ask them to explain a line or brand.UPDATE- Just got back from Charlotte NC and visited and purchased a product I needed whilst traveling at the blue mercury in ballantyne ncunbelievable staff and manager. Great Experience there, which leads me to double down on how bad things are at the Derby St location

Super rude staff. Would not even exchange my pat McGrath blushing delights. Made me repurchase it such a inconvenience I will never shop there again and I'm a make up artist.

Super rude staff.. like mind blowingly rude. I spend a lot of money in here and am consistently treated poorly and I think it's really sad. You shouldn't need to spend a lot of money to be treated with respect... but somehow still that doesn't even inspire decent customer service. Will not be shopping here anymore. It gives pretty woman vibes. Not a good look. Get over yourselves and be nice.

For some reason this location is very unhelpful. Terrible customer service. If you know exactly what you’re looking for (and can’t buy online at Nordstrom or around the corner at Sephora) I’d pop in. But if you think you might need some help…skip it.

Sales associate spent the whole time on the phone. Didn’t even acknowledge my presence. I enjoy being given space to look around but she couldn’t be bothered to engage or answer questions.

By far the best retailer for makeup . Tailors to a sophisticated , high end , less eclectic & more professional crowd than Sephora. Staff is superb.

It's so dumbfounding that the people who work here are so rude. Do they not know that they are basically minimum wage workers and not CFO's and have no reason to be so snobby? Every review mentioned the same problem yet the owners must not care?
