As a long time BofA client and a 9 year platinum preferred member, I had a very disappointing experience recently. I went there to redeem some (21) fully matured savings bonds. However the teller informed me that he would only redeem 8 and that if I wanted to redeem more I would have to get back in line again twice. Ridiculous! Considering changing to a local bank.

I deposited a rather nice check the teller stated that part of it would be cleared yesterday and the rest would be cleared at the beginning of next month that was supposed to have cleared yesterday and the amount in the future he put down the wrong numbers he couldn't add or subtract correctly And I called the main bank saying this check should be put in a sub section of medical lawsuit so I don't get tax on it and my check was put it in as a normal checkOn top of that when you add the amount that was supposed to be available tomorrow to the amount that's supposed to be available at the beginning of next month don't even add up correctly to my full balance ! And I just found out I have to wait another week before any of my check will be cleared. It must've been this guy's first day I swear.

Bank of America is where I do the majority of my banking and this bank which they are calling a "financial center" and not just a "bank" is the one closest to me. I come here if I need to use the ATM and for the most part, like many people these days, I do my banking online. There are still times however where going to a bank to talk to an actual banker is helpful.I understand that at the start of the pandemic, most everyone was ordered to "shut down" and this held true of BOA. But when things started opening back up, it seemed to me, Bank of America was very, very slow to get any of their employees back on site. At one point, this location and the Cohasset location swapped off...one site would be open and the other closed and vice versa. So if you needed to do something in person, you first had to sort out which of the two sites would be open on any given week so you would know where to go.Bank of America did not make it any easier to reach someone on the phone. Even pre-pandemic, using the phone was a challenge. But during the pandemic trying to reach an employee by phone was an exercise in frustration with long, long waits. What were all these employees doing??? Were they just furloughed and not actually working? Did they say they were working and weren't doing so? It was an infuriating time especially as I was someone working onsite and in person throughout the pandemic....Admittedly I had little patience for at places that remained completely closed after it was deemed safe enough to have at least some open, in-person hours. This bank had what I would call very poor service throughout the pandemic and it feels that only recently are things marginally back on track which is confounding. The hours that the bank is open are generally speaking inconvenient...they are 10am to 4pm. This works for me now that I am retired but would never have worked for me if I was still working. These ridiculous hours harken back to decades ago when "bankers' hours" were the norm and actually closed at 3pm. But in 2023 this is not user friendly especially when calling someone doesn't really work either. The bank is relying on the customer taking care of everything online. Cheaper for them, sometimes though, this is less accommodating for customers.A few weeks ago, I stopped in to use the ATM (some of us still like to have cash on hand) and I had a question about switching over an account I have at another bank. I was able to talk to the one bank employee onsite (other than one teller) in person who was pleasant enough and was able to answer my question and that was good. But there are no friendly "local" vibes here....it's all "corporate" with a non-user friendly approach to a post-pandemic "normal". For Bank of America it still seems like they are living in a 2020 pandemic constructed world. (But they still want your money!)

I walked into this bank and greeted a gentleman working for this bank , his name is Jonathan. Jonathan did not greet me at all , completely disregarded me. Another gentleman came after me he quickly greeted him and then proceeded to have him cut me in line. I told him that I was there first he completely disregarded it and said I apologize but it’s only a bill he is paying …. I was there to cash my check ! This is what society is now. Was it because I am a women ??? Or was it because of my skin color ??? I’m completely disappointed. This minor thing is just how injustices continue to happen and how they make white people and or Men feel privileged…. I handled my business and walked out without a disturbance. But yes if I could give this bank a zero for his behavior I would. Completely unacceptable!!!

Their zero liability claim is a lie. They give you 60days to file from the transaction date to dispute, or will do nothing. NOTHING! Yeah, it's not like we were in a pandemic and told to be patient waiting for items. Now I'm out of money with no recourse. I was a customer for 26 years before this, and the one time I needed them they weren't there. Don't bother, go to some place who will do right by their customers. Never again will I be a customer and I will do.my best to make.sure everyone knows why.

They are trying, but certainly can improve on banking skill or communicate in a friendlier tone.

Step out the bank without taking service after 10 min wait even I was next inline. There are 4 staff around the lobby with just 1 at service desk. Inefficient.

I am a little late with this review, but If I could give more than 5 stars to this establishment I would. Especially to two great representatives there. Giovanni and Amy Green. Gio, Thank yo so very much for helping me out and not only on my bank of America account related issues, but also on personal financial advises. Gio, went out of his way to help me out on advising me about how to get my credit score up. Amy was absolutely amazing about educating me on how their drop box system works and about the various savings account they have and which one will best fit me. But beyond that, being understanding about my personal needs and how to combine them with my bank of America accounts. =) This branch is absolutely amazing! Highly recommend it.

Friendly staff and the drive up ATM plus the one in the lobby make it too easy. I never wait in line for longer than five minutes.

I am most seriously displeased with this bank branch. They have a phone number listed, yet no one answers it. I do not want to talk to an automated system. I need to talk to a human being.

It would be nice you had your hours of business listed

There's only one nice person there. The rest are rude. Be prepared to go in circles when talking about your accounts. Not going to this branch again ever.
