The shop owner is a darling woman and her alpaca items are of the highest quality. It's great to find items 100% soft, alpaca wool.

I have a beautiful blue alpaca blanket that I got from Alpaca Suri. It's super soft and not prickly like a wool one that I have from Ireland. I bring the blue blanket with me to fall outdoor friend gatherings. I strongly recommend this shop.

You need only to feel and see the Alpaca Suri products to know they are the finest quality and in beautiful colors from Peru. Softer and longer lasting than cashmere, Alpaca is a humane product. Animals at these farms enjoy being correctly sheared and are well taken care of by their owners. The respect for the animal is a part of the culture of Alpaca farming, and Alpaca Suri is the softest and finest you can buy. This store in unique in that is has the Alpaca Suri sweaters, scarves, blankets and other goods from Peru. I have been purchasing them for many years for myself and for gifts. These are luxury but functional items that are timeless and last a lifetime. Come see for yourself!

Nice selection but way to expensive compared to other Alpaca stores in the South Shore.

I bought a gorgeous alpaca wrap from this cute store in Hingham. I had forgotten about a store credit from a few years ago but the owner called to remind me. If you are looking for a special gift check out their products! I think the store is closing but all the products can be found online.

Word on the Hingham streets is that Tom and Katie Cruise enjoyed this store so much, they decided to name their daughter after it. Not sure if I believe it myself, but once you feel the pleasure of these Alpaca furs, you might think this tale is true. As a former Alpaca farmhand in my teenage years, summering in Western Mass., I can attest to the quality of these products and the expertise of the cashiers at this charming Hingham boutique. If you don't know how to evaluate Crimp from a Fiber Co-Op these guys can help you out. But we be warned: they often say, once you go Alpaca Fur you can never go back! Insider tip: Purchase an alpaca fur blanket before watching a movie at the nearby Loring Hall Cinema to stay comfy and warm. It's a bit heat-depleted in there!

An amazing boutique store with a large selection of very high quality alpaca materials! Susana was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. She described so much about different types and qualities of alpaca fabrics and really helped me understand the products. I definitely plan to return for gifts many times in the future.
