This was the best dealer I have been too! I know that sounds like it’s not realistic but I will tell you why. The owner, Jean-Paul was so nice…gave me older uncle vibes in a way. As a female, going to buy a car alone w/o having someone w/me very experienced w/cars, I always get nervous that dealers will try to take advantage. I also don’t like the dealers that are too ‘salesy’ or pushy. I know to look under the car for rust, and look out for certain sounds, check belts, brakes and things like that but I’m not a car person. Having a trustworthy dealer is important. Jean- Paul really was kind and I had been to a couple dealers where I just either didn’t trust the salesman that was there or too pushy. he wasn’t. He seemed to have an almost laid-back approach to sales and was kind. Obviously, he wanted to sell me a car, but he almost seemed to have a slight ‘looking out for me approach’…wanted to make sure customers needs were met. I live in MA so when he told me he could get the sticker and then also have one of his guys do the registration for me so I didn’t have to go to the registry. I thought YES!!! I hate doing that…a lot of places don’t do that. I have found a few on the boarder of Plaistow that will but most don’t. This one is over past NECCO. So I bought the car I was looking at from him and I’ve had it since last summer. Everything’s been great w/the car. It is a 2015 Ford Escape. Hasn’t needed any work. Nice car and clean. I rolled the sales tax onto my loan. Didn’t at first and asked to, he patiently went back and did everything. His guy was out that day for the sticker, but he sent me somewhere down the street and it was in and out so not a big deal. No problem passing. Price seemed on par w/what other dealers were selling the car for. This one has the extra long sunroof and is a titanium, loaded- so it was a little more but yeah, that seems normal due to the features, I shopped around a bit. By the time I got to his dealership, I was stressed and sick of looking. I even heard from a few dealers. They wouldn’t be able to offer me much because of my credit. I had stage IV cancer awhile back and an still on SSDI due to it…. My credits bad, because I have unpaid bills from it from like five years ago. I had so maintain a good car loan history go in before cancer. Everything was good so he was able to get me approved but not everyone else could. So my only complaint would be the interest rate, but that’s really not on him at all and has everything to do with my credit. If it were better, the interest rate would’ve been better. He did tell me make the payments and come back in like four months and he could refinance me. I haven’t done that yet, but probably going to soon! I really do think this guy has been the friendliest car dealer I’ve dealt with it, the easiest to work with, etc. I have never left a review for a dealer before but I do think he went above and beyond. I have recommended him to family and I would absolutely go here again!

Wish I could give a rating of 0 but he started out nice and it took him 20 extra mins to get there when I was in a rental car, I had taken my time out of my work to go visit him and. It took him 40-45 mins to get the car running it's a manual 2012 Vw jetta so no problem he bump started it and got it running no issue but what got me is the issues I was about to encounter....Soon after a while he asked me to send cash app which I did the rest of my 450.00 and 650.00 check which I canceled . He said my loan was denied and then was sending all these nasty texts showing me that he gets to keep money for the "damages" and as well as my signature is enough and then all these rotten things. I contacted Haverhill PD and I'm suppose to talk to an agent soon cause they apparently rob peoples money all the time and this isn't the first time. Jean-Pierre saliba may put on a good act but don't let him fool you he's looking to scam and take the biggest amount of money he can and run cause he can't afford the fake dealership he has and to repair all the cars so he makes a quick buck to pay his porsche he can't afford and other things. Not to mention if you look on his social media it says he's a gynecologist? Like what is this?!?!? He told me I'd be dealing with his fraud department since my work is all fake and blah blah blah and then cancled the loan and took my money! 450 dollars I wish I never cash paper him ! IF YOU COME ACROSS THIS GUY AND HE ASKS YOU TO CASHAPP HIM FOR DOWNPAYMENT DO NOT HE WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND MAKE EXCUSES AND SAY YOUR LOAN IS FRAUD AND RUN AWAY WITH YOUR CASH. Go over all his cars before you buy cause your only buying a piece of junk. not to mention I never took delivery of the car and he was saying all these things to keep my down payment and blocked me! What a scam artist, what a loser he probably doesn't have anything hence why he scams money out of people then runs. Not to mention he has a place in Manchester NH and then his dealer in Haverhill ma????? My advice to anyone is do not buy a car from Jeanpierre saliba he will take your money and run off with it, or give you a piece of shit that will fail and cost you money and do nothing about . I do not know how he is still in business, but something needs to be done!
