I went to get my labs drawn in Haverhill. I was met with a phlebotomist named Jade. When she started drawing my labs she put the tourniquet on (loosely and not tight) on my right arm and when she put the needle in she started fishing for a vein in my antecubital and wasn't able to draw my blood. So, she asked if she can try my other arm and asked if I was dehydrated. I said sure she can try and I also said I'm not dehydrated because I drank 2 bottles of water an hour before I got there. When she put the tourniquet on my left arm she put it on loosely again. I'm a nurse and Educator and teach people how to do phlebotomy all the time. I said to her, you can go tighter on my tourniquet. Because I know some patients don't like that but I don't mind. The phlebotomist looked at me agrily said "Can I do my job." I said "ok that's fine" and didn't say anything after. She undid the tourniquet and redid it, then looked at me angrily and said repeatedly "I don't need you to tell me how to do my job, I do things my way." I said ok, that's fine because I can see she was upset and didn't want her to get distracted with drawing my blood. Next thing I know she calls the other phlebotomist in and says this lady is telling me how to do my job and I don't appreciate it, can you take over. Jade stormed out of the room and started yelling "I can't believe she comes here to try to tell me how to do my job, but not today, I'm not dealing with it." I was shocked. I was not expecting that. I only said on thing to her and it was to tighten the tourniquet. I don't think thats disrespectful and when she said she wanted to do her job I didn't say anything further. As she left, I told the other phlebotomist that I was only trying to help. The phlebotomist who came in took the tourniquet off my left arm because Jade didn't take it off before she left. She put the tourniquet on my right arm again but tighter and went to draw my blood in the same antecubital space and was successful. I don't like to complain but her behavior was unprofessional and her technique needed work. I will never go back there. She made me very upset. And she needs education on proper technique. She should never leave a patient with a tourniquet on and no matter how upset you are with a patient, you don't yell at them, you can excuse yourself and have another phlebotomist come in.

Girl that works there literally tortured me with the needle multiple times trying to find a vein, had me come back then a new girl finally found a vein to draw blood but had an attitude.
Ps, when someone is getting blood drawn and is visibly anxious. please for the love of god stop talking loud, giggling loud with each other and ranting while you’re trying to find the patient’s vein.

Walk into a completely empty office to find out walk ins aren't being accepted for 3 hours despite literally no customers being there, after a 12 hr fast.
Awful service

I usually go to Lowell locations either Rogers St or lchc and I never have a problem. I had to go to the Holy family location. The two girls were extremely rude and unprofessional. Not only were they rude to my face, but I could hear them talking about me and some how my information got deleted out of their computer so it was a total waste of time.

Awful. Over crowded in small room. Standing room only today! I waited 25 min and still 15 people ahead of me. One woman was called in when I first got there and when I finally walked out half hour later she was still in there!! Same people were still sitting there. 5 more people walked in to standing room only so I got up and left. I've done bloodwork for years and never seen what I saw today. Usually people are in and out and the line moves. Zero movement the whole 25 minutes I was there other than the woman called when I first arrived. Maybe they are short handed but awful service.

Ridiculously long waiting time even if you HAVE AN APPOINTMENT!!! Unprofessional personel. Always understuffed. Stay away from this place as much as you can.

Insane walk-in wait times. Schedule says 7-3:30 . Apparently Friday is 3 or whenever they felt like leaving… never have I experienced this level of difficulty to withdraw blood for one test ..I highly recommend going to another lab .

I am 1. nervous getting blood drawn since some find it hard to find a good vein on me. (Gave up donating blood to the Red Cross because of the difficulty & subsequent bruising)./Make sure you drink plenty of water way ahead of time.I was 2. nervous going to Quest because of bad online reviews, but PRINCESS DIANA at Quest, Haverhill MA, March 2023 was fantastic.I didn't feel a thing and it was so quick. My Dr. had made the appt for me. The appt email reminder made me 3. nervous - "if you are 10+ mins late you will be treated as a walk-in". Wed, 2 PM the anteroom was empty. I had trouble logging in at the kiosk with my QR code. Luckily someone appeared from the locked offices and helped me out. There's plenty of parking either next to the building or across the way, a larger lot.

Very efficient appointment. I was dreading going to my appointment. I was called in right away. I did not feel a thing when blood was being drawn. Not many people waiting in waiting room. You will be in and out.

Tech had poor attitude didn't listen had trouble comprehending. Didn't do all the test doctor requested claimed I refused them. Urine sample Left claimed I didn't. This has happened before I think they use clean urine for those drug user's to get job's.

I went to the Derry location with a simple request and the woman I spoke to at the receptioist window was rude and made me feel like I was a bother. Then< I couldnt speak to a real breathing human being about my request. I am thinking about changing to labcorp.
