I drove from NYC to view and buy a Volvo XC90 Recharge Ultimate. Braeden, the salesman with whom I'd set up an appointment, had everything ready when I got there; the car was charged and ready to go. As an XC90 owner, I was somewhat familiar with the new XC90 but, as my car is over 10 years old, Braeden happily explained and demonstrated all the new amenities that come with the car. He was very familiar with the car and well versed in its specifications. During the test drive Braeden continued to explain the car to me and conveyed the true value of the car, the numerous safety features, and the advantages of purchasing it from Jaffarian Volvo. In short, if you're considering purchasing a Volvo at Jaffarian, you should ask for Braeden, a very honest and forthright man.
Francine in the Finance Department also should be recognized. She had a very thorough knowledge of the financing options available for the purchase and was able to describe and show the value of the extended warranties available with a Volvo purchase; warranties well worth it.
The dealership itself was certainly worth the drive from New York City. Everyone who I spoke to was helpful and informative. In short, when it's time to purchase my next Volvo, I'll likely make that 4-1/2 hour drive to Jaffarian Volvo again.

Had a quote from this stealership’s service department of $2k to do a timing belt, tensioners, water pump etc. for regular maintenance on my 2013 96k mile Volvo S60. Came on a later date to ask for an appointment around 5pm to ask when I could drop off the car to do the job and Mr. Rob the service manager sat down with me very politely explained when I could drop off the car. Rapidly he went on his computer and pulled out the Carfax to see the history on the car because I bought it used and he noticed the car had a compression test done before I bought it. He said he was contacting the dealership who performed the job to ask the reason why and I thought wow this person shows interest and goes the extra mile to help the customer! What a great guy! He told me he was going to call me back and I could drop off the car to take care of the job. A day went by and no call, I called and the lady at the service desk tells me that I couldn’t drop the car because they were booked and Ron was going to call me back that same day. That evening he calls, apologizes and rapidly addressed the compression test issue when I only wanted to do the timing belt job. He said the car had low compression in two cylinders and was burning oil and offered to do a piston ring job for $6,500 to what I responded that the car was working fine and there wasn’t any noticeable oil consumption in the 500 miles we drove the car and my interest was doing the timing belt job which was my priority because the car was for my son and I didn’t want him stranded on the side of the road. Mr. Rob politely said he was calling me back for an appointment. Two months have passed and I’ve been waiting for that call. I’m really glad I decided to sponsor a small business in Merrimac MA called Yankee Garage experts in Volvo and Saab which were very professional and reasonably priced. I guess Mr. Rob’s per job rate is over $6k and if you don’t have a newer Volvo they don’t take you into consideration.

I came to jaffarian for servicing and a simple repair. The servicing went smoothy, but much more expensive than other Volvo dealerships I've been too. The servicing team clearly did not examine the part of the car I asked them to repair. I had ducktape holding the piece together and it had clearly not been moved to examine the problem. They then told me that it was impossible to repair and quoted me an exorbitant ammount for a completly new part. I brought my car to another shop and the repair was completed in half an hour for a tenth of the price jaffarian quoted me. Do not go here for anything more complicated than a simple servicing.
