I came in shortly after they opened on Wednesday morning for suspected Strep. I was checked in quickly (only 1 person in waiting room ahead of me) and then seen almost immediately once I was assigned a treatment room. The doc seamlessly came in as the nurse was headed out with the strep test. I felt heard. I had questions about how best to keep my kids from contracting strep from me and by the time the rapid test was back, they has all the take home papers in hand and the prescription ordered. In less than an hour I was seen and had the medicine in hand so I could start getting better. Professional, clean and efficient! Thank you.

l had to go on Saturday because my eye was full of floaters. Got in quickly. The staff is kind and friendly. They recommended I see my retinologist ASAP. They calmed me down because I was frightened about sight loss.

Fontaine Urgent Care is easily the best urgent care to go to. You can see wait times on their website, and they are never super long. I've been here twice for urgent matters and both time was met with respect and care from staff. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and nice!

While on my vacation, I came down with a fairly uncomfortable sore throat. I went to the urgent care part of Fontaine. My experience was really excellent. I filled out the online form, spoke to an intake person and sat back down to wait. Within 30 minutes, I was being treated by first a nurse and then a nurse practitioner. This is with no appointment, just walked in! I have waited longer than that at doctor's offices where I have an appointment. My diagnosis was clear and explained well. They called in a prescription for me. I'm on my way back to feeling better and I appreciate the professionalism and care that I recdived.

I am hard-of-hearing and it was a struggle to understand what the receptionist was saying. I came here for an X-ray for a fractured spine. What is happening with this group isn't what was happening just two years ago. This is Cape Cod and the county was the 4th fastest growing county in the country. And with that, getting to see my PCP has become a 4 month wait, my spine was left untreated by the the hospital that is associated with this place. The attending physician at Cape Cod Hospital is also the person that wrote that he wanted to see me in two days. Cape Cod Hospital was the most miserable experience. I had fallen off a ladder at 17' and it took 17 days after I fell to finally get the first appointment. The experience there was actually pretty disturbing. I didn't see the neurosurgeon but instead a PA. I had absolutely no idea that the bag I was given at Cape Cod Hospital contained the spine brace. The directions were obscure to say the least and had almost no instructions on how to wear it and get actual relief from the pressure on the spine. So sorry that the PA spent the entire time chastising me for movements I made while in the visit. I did ask for a referral but they didn't end up making one only because I said that she was talking at me while also being condescending. Then the big question...."why didn't you make an appointment two weeks ago and after the fall and now it is actually worse." I about lost it because it was the neurosurgeon's office that was not returning my calls. The fact is that I called 14 separate times but the PA was dismissive and said she was going to look into it. I simply said "don't bother" and it was very apparent that she thought it was an exaggeration but I didn't know her name or anything about her. I think that this outpatient center is five times better than CCH but it is actually part of CCH so it essentially means I am stuck. However, I go to Boston almost every week and Beth Israel deaconess has been a great experience every time. May be worth the 4 trek.

The incompetence is mind boggling! I waited three months to see a nurse practitioner and she had never even looked at one of my medical records. I waited six months to see a doctor and he told me I only have 20 minutes so I better skip to the best parts of my list I had written. If this is the best Cape Cod can do I need a referral to a witch doctor.

Simply pathetic! Over 3 hours to get a simple ultrasound done.

My husband and I went today to get covid tests (we are both vaccinated but had recently been in Ptown ) - yes it was crowded but everyone we came in contact with during the check-in, registration, vitals, doctor and the person who swabbed us was patient, kind and professional. No appointment was necessary (a bonus) and it was good to get this taken care of ... I would definitely go back!

Terrible experience on my last visit. Check in staffer did not listen to what I was there for and focused on a side comment that some minor neck discomfort might be from a minor parking lot car accident. I went to Fontane as I had been running a temperature for over 10 days that was spiking to 100.4 degrees late in the day from no temperature early in the morning. At any rate the staffer who did BP, Temperature and vitals was untrained and had no idea what she was doing. She took a digital temperature reading that reflected a below normal temperature reading of 97.5. I told her that her machine must be broken and she took my temperature with a disposable under the tongue thermometer. Guess what, the reading was 100.1 degrees. She said she would change the record, but never did and when I looked at my discharge papers at home the reading of 97.5 that was inaccurate was not changed on the computer, so the Doctor relied on inaccurate information. In addition on the urine sample cup that I was given did not have my name on it but that of someone else. I told the lab person that the specimen with the name of some unknow person was the one that I used and that it was sealed, when I got it and I broke the seal. At any rate I am now starting all over with my PCP and while my experience at Fontaine may have been just a series of freak circumstances, I was totally dissatisfied enough on my recent visit to take the time to write this lengthy comment of dissatisfaction. The 2 stars given above may be generous, but the doctor relied on inaccurate information and he was not a fault. When he gave me my discharge papers, I asked him to take my temperature as I was sure I had one. He did and the reading was 100.1 degrees. Enough said.............

I work in healthcare and one glance at the waiting room in this place full of sick kids and worn parents (myself included) on a Monday morning would have sent me into despair and searching for a career change. Somehow, the staff there are cheerful and the wait was reasonable. I'd say it's the right balance of compassionate and efficient. I got exactly what I wanted for my kiddo- strep and Covid testing, plus a purple ring pop.

The nurses were decent and I get that many situations have changed due to Covid. That being said, I only went there because I had been sick for over a month and had received two rounds of antibiotics without getting better. I'm in agreement that my symptoms were likely viral. The nurse practitioner came out and listened to my lungs after my Covid testing and vitals and walked away. The nurse came out with instructions to continue with what I was doing at home! Ridiculous. The NP was inept and clearly just wanted to go home. I get it. I'm a healthcare provider. There is a code of ethics however, and it doesn't include abject laziness as a part of "best practice" If you are suffering with something other than a wart or toenail fungus, go somewhere else.
