It was a very busy morning here. I was able to sign in, be helped, and be on my way out with prescriptions in 40 minutes. Heather was awesome.

My issue was not resolved I didn’t hear anything back from anyone all of the staff were great while I was there. But they definitely didn’t treat me for the right problem they put me on medication I ended up not needing and it didn’t help or fix anything. I feel very overlooked. What should have been already taken care of is still going on and I’m very uncomfortable. I am disappointed

My son and I came in today during a blizzard to get his back checked out. He had hurt it a few days back from what he says was sleeping on it wrong but I believe it was at the gym using too much weights doing fly workouts. I had become concerned as it was getting worse. Normally I wouldn’t drive in a blizzard but he was becoming immobile and grimacing often. And I figured with the school day off due to weather and the very little free time we have that it was 100% the right call to get him into to the closest facility that you can walk in and that also has x-ray equipment. Or so I thought…
Everyone there was very nice and professional except for this one Doctor. I don’t know her name but she had dark hair, was short and heavy set. Sorry but that’s the only way I can describe her. She didn’t introduce herself and was so brief that I never got the chance to ask her name.
Anyways she starts by coming storming into the room. Had a massive attitude from the gates for absolutely no reason. Before we even said a word. It was not cool. She then thought it best to give me this whole speech on how I should’ve taken my son to his pediatrician instead of there so his back injury could be “tracked.” Which I thought I could track and also thought that there was also this really handy thing to Doctors called the medical information Bereau. ? Anyways it’s all attitude again when I said yes to her question if I would like to get his x rays done today. She literally just walked out of the room shaking her head. I had never seen such an unprofessional person in the medical industry in my life. Not even close. If she had simply asked a few questions she would’ve known that…
A) Her facility was by far closest to my house and it was a severe blizzard outside. It was also the only walk in available within 20 miles and they had x-ray equipment which I knew was going to happen one way or the other.
B) X-rays were 100% going to get done at some point with the injury only getting worse. He was having trouble breathing. 100% of the time there is an injury a doctor or physician is going to order x rays. They always do. After that it’s an MRI if needed. Every.Single.time.
C) I just finally got my son accepted to a new Primary Care Doctor after our big move to the cape. It took me almost a year. It was a nightmare. His first appointment is next month but I felt this couldn’t wait. He was in severe pain and said it was hard to breath. So the physician speech was a waste of time and off putting. Talking to me like an idiot. We came to that facility for care. We’re sorry if we disrupted your free time during the blizzard when we were your only patients. Very sorry for the 6 minute inconvenience by asking that you do your job for a moment.
We then got the as lazy as it gets suggestion of ibuprofen and ice or a heating pad. Something I was already doing for him the last 3 days because every adult on earth knows that you apply ice and heat and take an anti inflammatory.
So unfortunately we are not looking forward to revisiting that center in likely the next 2-3 days when my sons back isn’t any better but hopefully someone qualified can refer us to a specialist which probably should’ve happened today but that’s just how these things go. All too often Doctors think that their patients or in this case parent have no idea what they are talking about and that you walk on this mystified air. You don’t. I’ve seen more times that a Doctor is completely missing the big picture and all too often miss an actual medical emergency because they are simply too busy being the smartest person in the room. Or so they think.
I will 100% be contacting this woman’s superiors. I have never in my life gone to that extreme but her behavior was so ridiculous even my son said something which is not like him. And if it turns out that there is something wrong with my son that should’ve been picked up today I will explore every legal

This place is definitely not as efficient as it was a few years ago. Much slower and much less sense of urgency. Care was fine but just much slower and it wasn’t busy.

My 70 year old mother with COPD and asthma went here to get Paxlovid after a positive COVID test and the doctor would not prescribe it to her because day 1 of her symptoms were not severe. But according to The NY Times, Paxlovid is being under prescribed for many reasons including this: “But the point of Paxlovid is to prevent Covid from getting severe. The medication works best when prescribed in the first few days after a patient shows symptoms, so a doctor does not have time to wait to see how bad an infection gets.” This is absolutely ridiculous.

A great clinic and staff, these Medical Professionals are severely overworked in a very understaffed facility which is far too small.

Arrived Monday AM with lots of other people. Quick sign in. They have a computer monitor that shows expected wait time range which was nice. I was seeing someone within 20 minutes despite it being busy. The PA Lindsey used their state of the art eye cart to diagnose my issue and send me on my way.

Went yesterday when I wasn't feeling well. Wait time was minimal, staff was friendly and helpful, left feeing more confident. Appreciated having this quick, no drama option for a minor medical need. Thank you.

Was having ongoing severe problems with diarrhea and went to Fontaine. I must first say that most of my interactions with the staff are stellar! But the last time I went I saw a female NP. She was cold, demeaning, judgemental, and mean. She put her hand on her hip and said, "What exactly do you want from us?" I said, diagnosis and treatment. She sent me home with a vial for a stool sample. No anomalies were found. Fortunately I ended up in Tobey Hospital ER. The nurse there said it sounded like I had colitis which was proved with a CT scan. I was also severely dehydrated and had to have a whole bag of IV saline fluid.. I called Fontaine and asked to speak with a manager and was told one would contact me. Nothing yet. I literally could have died from dehydration! Finally got a call from a manager and although she did listen to my complaint she kept praising the NP. She said maybe the NP was having a 'bad day'. She vacillated betwixt semi-validating me and praising the NP whose bed side manner leaves a lot to be desired.

In January 2023, my fiancé went to urgent care complaining of feelings of food getting stuck in his throat and he had an episode of syncope, they brushed it off, agreeing with the guess of the patient stating it could be food poisoning. He went back again a couple weeks later, stating he really needed a referral to get an endoscopy done because he wasn’t keeping down, even liquids… they lied stating they would give a referral, but then 2 weeks later, told him they don’t give them. Jon finally begged a specialist to please be seen because he was literally dying of dehydration. Long story short, it ended up ACTUALLY being STAGE IV Adenocarcinoma of the esophagus, which is spread to the liver and lymph nodes. BE your own self advocate and demand more extensive care. Be very careful of going here.
