Bought a pellet stove from these people has never work since it was installed. Was a floor model was promise that they would service it for me if anything goes wrong. But was never fixed right and when I called them to service it for the season was told they do not service them anymore. But saw no someone a year later sell the same stove I had because they were moving. Asked them how serviced their stove they told me chimney Chap. They are liars and should not be in business. Owner came to my house to service my stove promised he would make it right he lied. I recommend you find a different stove shop.

BEWARE. If you are in the market for a new stove, I would strongly recommend anyplace else but here. To have complete strangers come into your house in scary. But to have complete strangers come into your house and make fun of your living situation while they vape in your living room thinking your not home is unacceptable. Everyone have cameras now gentlemen. Literally talking trash about my lifestyle and smoking in my living room. I would strongly stay away from this place. Dirty.

We were selling my mom's home and needed a licensed chimney person to inspect work done, James Seery came out and did a through inspection of the work done and could have easily said not good enough however he was honest and said the work done was done satisfactorily. I appreciated his honesty first and foremost along with being a very professional and friendly person, we need more people like Jim in this world, restores faith in humanity for sure, not everyone is out to take advantage of you :)

I went to the showroom about a month ago and received a quote for a pellet stove and installation which was a higher price with some questionable charges then two others companies. I ask sales person to see if they can do better on the price and said he will speak to the owner(s) and see what he can do. Unfortunately at that time, I did not know that one of the owners was walking in the showroom in general, then finally went behind the desk at the time of quote was give and heard the ending of our conversation, but did not say anything to help and maybe close the deal.... nor did the sales person ever called me back. Great sales follow-up 101.

From the professionalism of our salesman Casey to the expertise shown by the installer Kris, the end-to-end process of purchasing a pellet stove from the Chimney Chap was an amazingly pleasant experience. We visited Casey numerous times over the course of many months. First looking at gas burning stoves, then electric fireplaces and finally deciding on a pellet stove. Casey was knowledgeable and happy to assist us with our questions and provide us with the information we needed every time, even as we changed our minds on which type of unit would fit us best. After deciding on a pellet stove, the installation led by Kris was both timely and professional. The attention to detail from the installers was very apparent in the way they handled all aspects of the installation. We would highly recommend the Chimney Chap if you are looking to purchase a stove or fireplace!

Scam alert! I called and told person answering the phone that my chimney needed 8-10 courses repointed, a new crown and possibly a new cap. They immediately tried to sell me a chimney sweep service even after I told them the chimney has not been used in over 15 years. When I pushed back she tried to sell me a $260 inspection service. WOW. I had such high hopes to use a local business.

We've hired Chimney Chap for 3 jobs now, after others let us down, and we have been very satisfied with all the work performed and their competitive rate. We had them do a complex Chimney repair, pellet stove venting repair, and general maintenance. For the Chimney repair, they provided a realistic solution that fully solved our issue without trying to inflate the job with work we didn't need (unlike other providers we got quotes from). They came in UNDER BUDGET after realizing that one step was already done, which earns a ton of credibility from me because they knew they could have gotten away with it (am I going to know to check something inside the top of my chimney?), but ethically they did the right thing for it's own sake. They set a quick timeframe for the multi-step repair, and actually were able to fit it in even sooner. Everyone was very friendly and professional, talked through the work and our options, cleaned up after everything, solid work, ahead of schedule and under budget. What more could you want?

Its a long review but please if you're considering CC it's worth reading. They do not deserve even the 1 star. We paid over 4,000 to have CC install a WS for us in August. We used the WS for 2 months when smoke started pouring in our home. Paul came out to look at it and basically told us the job wasn't done right the first time they didn't go up high enough. Then vacuumed out the inside of an already cleaned out WS charged me 300 and left without fixing anything. I was a bit surprised I was being charged at all considering they didn't do it right the 1st time but I was under the impression it was going to be working when he left and we could address the short pipe issue at a later date. Due to other issue's we didn't want anything added to the roof plus Paul didn't have the necessary parts. We tired using the WS after they left but again smoke was pouring in the house. I then called CC and lucky me I spoke with Rania (an owner) who informed me that according to my paperwork we didn't have the necessary parts when it was installed because we supposedly asked for the bare minimum to save money. A statement that was never made by us but regardless even if we did say such a thing which we didn't we paid for a working WS and all parts needed for it to work. They are the experts so even the bare minimum should have included these missing parts.. So now Paul and Rania tell me I have to shell out another $5-600 to complete a job that should have been done right the first time. Apparently they didn't put enough pipe so I need more pipe and some other part to support the higher pipe. My husband and I pull out the original invoice turns out we did pay for that part they just never put it on. So much for the bare minimum BS. I call Holly who I have nothing bad to say about her. She seen my issue with this BS. Holly tired to do the right thing. She was going to have Paul out to us the next day to fix it and refund us the 300 for what they are calling an inspection. Just when we thought it was over and they were going to make right what they messed up the first time I get an email from Holly letting me know she spoke with Rania not only am I not going to be refunded the 300 cause that was for an inspection but I will be charged another 400 for them to come out and fix their mistake. I was of course not happy. To try to sum up this long review after a few calls and emails from Rania she actually wanted to charge me 250 for labor on a job I already paid for. She made some foolish claims that they did things on this job for free like when they had to come back out a few days after the install cause they were missing some of the bricks and they didn't put enough of some crap on the roof. She said I normally would be charged for that. Charged for you guys to finish up a job you started. In the end she gave me 150 credit for the 300 job that originally was an inspection but now she's calling it a clean out cause if it was an inspection then they should have noticed the missing parts we already paid for. We paid another 127.31 for them to do their original job correctly. Also their invoice clearly says discounts for cash paid jobs. We paid every job in cash even the 4,000 install. When I asked about that which honestly I was really making a joke out of the ridiculous BS I had dealt with. Rania actually tired saying I did get the cash discount. Funny I didn't see anything marked on my invoices and their invoices are very detailed. Rania's CS skills are a joke the women is just awful to deal with. I honestly have nothing nice to say about her. Apparently the 127.31 was more important to her then a satisfied customer so we paid it. I attached photos of our invoices originally she was given us a 300 discount but then it changed to 150 so she could get that 127.31 from us. Also the original work order saying job was almost complete they needed to come back. You for the job she said I would normally be charged for.
