Lovely staff, it's nice to be cared for and not just handed what you need. Not an issue for me as yet but I reckon they'd be quick to catch a med conflict if one came up. I'm liking the auto refill system with a text to say it's ready.

Don't talk to these people about personal things or they might make you feel a little uncomfortable... rude employees.

I do love Shaw's in Hanson , but there is a reason I won't always shop there. I love Jello but not sugar free. It's the only "sweet" I allow myself every day. You carry every flavor of the pre-made cups in sugar free, but only strawberry in regular. I'm not a fan of strawberry, so I'll frequent another market quite often because if this.

Multiple items in the produce section, including all bags of salad, were expired. Their complete Grillo's pickles selection was expired by two months. When we complained we were simply told "we'll do better next time." For the prices, you'd think they'd have fresh produce and better customer service.

Hate Shaws.. I have been feeding Farmers Market to my girl and she has been doing well. I have been buying it from shaws supermarkets. I know a supermarket but its all natural and its the only thing she likes. I have been checking for two weeks when the next shipment comes in. I bought all the packets they had. I am starting to worry, no call , no e-mail from Shaws. I finally got a manager on Wednesday. She said she would order it. I said great, down to only 6 packet. I would

I would like to give a shout out to the bakery girls at Shaws in Hanson saturday for cheerfully answering my questions, then finding me in the aisle with a surprise bakery item, (my favorite fudge), that they had out back. Refreshing to have GREAT customer service and having them take that extra step when they didn't have to. Thank you

I have shopped here numerous times because it's a convenient location for me. The Butcher counter/area consistently appears less than sanitary and smells like rotting flesh and ammonia-based floor cleaner (no exaggeration). Refrigeration cabinets and shelves are very outdated. Perhaps this is the reason for the odor. Seems like the entire store needs to be renovated and equipment replaced and upgraded. Prices are relatively high on most common items. Quality and freshness are definitely concerns with this store. Certainly purchase your meats elsewhere.

Pharmacists work to get to know you as more than a patient and definitely help you feel comfortable talking to them and coming to them with any questions about medications. They are great advocates with doctors for refills/prior authorization, and work with you! I once lost my medicine when moving back home from college and the pharmacy was able to give me a couple days worth of my meds until my doctor was able to send a refill!!

OK, so I've been in New England a little over three years, and I can finally tell the difference between Shaws and Stop & Shop after finding this particular Shaws. I have been disappointed by virtually every supermarket I've visited since I've moved here. They're smaller than I am used to, they're not inviting or well-lit, they usually smell vaguely of fried chicken, and the produce is 2-3x the price that it is back home in California. That shouldn't surprise me, since the growing season is so short here, but ugh, it hurts. This particular Shaw's is outstanding. The service is pretty good, they're friendly and available when you need them. The produce department is almost as good as Whole Foods in Weymouth, but it's closer to me, and much less expensive, obvi. I found this place over the summer, so produce prices have yet to horrify me. The meat & seafood is nine hundred times better than any other market within a ten mile radius. Yes, I have visited them all, they all smell vaguely of rancid fish and fried chicken. This meat department has grassfed beef that isn't in those gross sealed packages with the black plastic backs, which smell like the gaping maw of death when you open them. So that's a win. So in summation: clean, well-lit, inviting, well-stocked, and staffed by nice humans. So glad I found it!

I just left Shaws. My 4 year old daughter got sick at the checkout, everyone came to the rescue! The cashier Diane, the customer in front of me, the manager Brian got me a new carriage & helped me clean up, & another employee wheeled my carriage out for me, so I could carry my daughter. Thank you so much for being so thoughtful & caring!
