“I have banked the longest with Hingham Institution for Savings, but it is becoming a little too inconvenient, I live in Hanover now and I think there's a branch on the Norwell line but I also have an account with Bank of America (mostly for the convenience for travel and transfers) but they are TERRIBLE and it's just so nice to have the same small town feel again banking here”

“I recently left Bank of America for Rockland Trust Bank at 104 Main Street in Weymouth. My first time walking in, I was greeted by Stephanie the assistant branch manager. She was friendly, energetic and made me feel more than welcomed. I looked at their business banking products and knew I had to switch there! My first time there wasn't a fluke! I met Jenna Graziano, the branch manager and her energy was the same! Not just her, the whole team was like this! It's rare to come across a business where everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to address your concerns. I highly recommend this location in particular as I'm sure you won't be disappointed.”

“I just completed a home equity line of credit with Rockland Trust and I have to say the whole process was very streamlined and I had great communication throughout. In particular I dealt with Laura Lombard out of the Abington branch and she was completely wonderful. She not only helped me apply for the HELOC but she had helped me open a Savings and Checking account for my special needs son prior thereto and I loved her immediately.”

“When to open a business account and had a great experience. As I entered the main area I was greeted by at least 3 workers. That alone left a good impression on me. I waited approximately 10 minutes to be seen, which is reasonable seeing how busy they were. The Branch Manager Anna gathered my information and made me feel very comfortable with the process of switching my business account to them.I'm a credit union type of person...this place gave me those good vibes.”

“A family member recently became ill and I had to become responsible for all the financials. I walked into the bank distraught, One of the Tellers (Terri) explained since my name wasn’t on account she was unable to assist me but, recommended I speak with Ian Riley. Mr Riley was so kind. He took the time to explain to me the legalities and stated that the family member can appoint someone to help with financials. I immediately said he is sick not incompetent and Mr Riley calmed me down and took extra time to explain different options like having my name added to account or financial power document. I am grateful for Mr Riley’s assistance as he helped take one burden off me. Thank you Ian, Terri, Rose, Mikaela, and Maria for your kindness and support while our family deals with the stress of fighting a cancer diagnosis.”
“My husband and I went in to have his accounts closed before moving over to our joint account. I have never liked his bank, he's had way more issues than I've had with mine. But at this branch, we worked with Ace, who was fantastic, and the only reason we were sad to go. “The Hanson Rockland Trust is a great bank with excellent employees. They are friendly, knowledgeable and courteous.A couple years ago my wife and I were both battling cancer & we got a call from the bank employees who all chipped in and sent my family 4 pizza’s.Every time I go in the bank, Jill or the bank manager asks how my kids are doing.I worked for America’s largest bank for 28 years & I can guarantee you, they would never do anything to assist a local family unless the cameras were on.”
