Emmy’s is a great doggy daycare. Clean facility along with a great staff. My dog Jake has been going there for a couple of years now and he absolutely loves it. They also offer grooming if you’re looking for that as well. I highly recommend.

Our energetic dog begs to go, comes home tired, and everyone who works there is so darn nice. They are the best!

Amazing! My very energetic puppy is totally fulfilled by the interaction with other dogs and the staff. The staff is caring beyond. Can’t say enough good things about Emmys

My 1 year old Dog has been going to Emmy’s for about 5 months. We have the best experience here. My dog gets so excited when I say we are going to “daycare” and always goes running to the door when I say we are going! We tried a previous daycare before coming to Emmys and my dog seemed escalating going and whined when I left him, which was enough to me to realize how great Emmy’s is! Emmy’s has been so flexible with our family and we feel very supported. My dog got sick in July and they were so understanding that he had to take an extended time off of daycare. I am also expecting my first child and they have been so flexible with scheduling while we figure out our new normal. All the staff seem to really care and I do not know them all by name but shout out to Amy, Michelle, Sage and the wonderful owner Kate! Overall we are so happy that our Dog has somewhere safe and fun to go when we need extra help getting him socialized and all his energy out!

We’ve been going to Emmy’s for over 5 years and love it! Kate and her team are amazing and our two dogs are always so excited to go. They do a great job training (shout out to Lenette and Sarah!) and we love their home boarding. We also appreciate that dogs are not separated by size and have the freedom to go in and out all day. We highly recommend Emmy’s!

We couldn't rave more about Emmy's! They take stellar care of our golden retriever, Bogey. Bogey has made so many life-long friends at Emmy's... both human and canine alike! Nothing makes our day quite like seeing a picture of Bogey having a ball at school. The staff at Emmy's is exceptionally personable, dependable, and professional. We feel so lucky to have such a loving and hardworking group looking after our fur baby. Emmy's is and will always be Bogey's second home.

We have been sending Cleo to the Barking Lot since 2017 and started in Hanover, but now shares her time between both Hanover and Kingston locations. They treat her like family and everyone on the staff has fantastic and helpful. Cleo loves to go to "school" and see all of her friends of all sizes and ages. We always recommend the Barking Lot if you are looking for a great experience for both you and your pet :)

Our German Shepherd has been going to play at Emmy's Barking Lot since she was 4 months old and she has loved every minute of it. I really feel like everyone at the Barking Lot cares about the dogs and wants them to be the best canine citizens they can be. And our doggie has the best time when she goes.We have also used Emmy's Barking Lot for boarding and I can't tell you how awesome it is to know that your dog is in someone's home, not in a kennel, and with someone they know well. And finally, Lennette is a great trainer, we have used her and she has helped us understand our dog so much more. We had such a great experience and outcome for her and us.

My EBD has been going to Emmy's for 4.5 years and boards with them when I go away. Kate is a true professional, caring and very fair as a business owner. I have complete trust in them. They have helped my Pedey and I so much over the years. My dog absolutely loves it and I could not recommend Emmy's more. I am so grateful for them.

Posting from my other account because Google didn't approve the (many) edits on my last post to make it less rage-filled as I emotionally recovered from our experience with Emmy's, however, I feel this info needs to be shared:I've come away from our time with Emmy's feeling hurt, frustrated, angry, unvalued as a customer, and honestly betrayed as a dog lover. In the days since we parted ways with them, we've learned from other dog behavioral specialists that the training methods implemented at Emmy's were really not best practice, and beyond that, were particularly problematic for a dog with anxiety and a past history of trauma & neglect. I have learned that this not only did not help his issues, it in fact helped to make them worse. As someone who feels like this dog was our first child (millennials, I know, insert eyeroll here), I am struggling with guilt for letting him stay there for so long, particularly as at three separate and distinct times, my feelings of general casual unease with him being there escalated to strong discomfort. For various reasons we chose to stay at these points, but I really should have trusted my gut and moved him a long time ago. I instead trusted their judgement with his training when they said they "had to work with him", because I thought they were experts. I don't think I'll be able to forgive myself for not asking more questions earlier. While some of the girls that work there are genuinely lovely individuals, I've found my interactions with others decidedly unpleasant. While we've sought out alternate care & training locally this week, they (the unpleasant ones in particular) have chased me down all over social media commenting on how horrible our dog is, while I've been careful not to say much more (publicly) than that we don't want recs for them because we've had a negative experience. They've been overall unprofessional in how they've handled our business at best (at multiple points over the years, not just in this one instance), and, to our dog, harmful in the end.If your dog has no prior issues, is super chill, and requires zero extra TLC, you'll probably be fine here. Sarah in particular was extremely patient when I completely and entirely lost my cool with them this week. But I do feel like this is the wrong place for a dog with any kind of needs.

This place used to be great, but the owner is really rude and kind of a snob. I didn't appreciate the way she acted as though we've put no effort into our dog, who we've had to spend an enormous amount of effort rehabing from a severe abuse and neglect situation. There also seemed to be way too many dogs for a fairly small space, and not a lot of control over the dogs within the area. Wouldn't recommend.

Their attentiveness to the dog's and their needs is great. Everything from feeding to exercise and of course playtime. We've been bringing Bentley since he was a pup and he's always super excited to hang with his friends. I'd advise any one to trust their valued family member with the Staff at Emmy's.

Emmy’s is an amazing spot! The staff is exceptional. My pup absolutely loves spending her days there and always greets me with a smile. Kate is so responsive and hands-on. She and Michelle and Amy know every dog, their personalities and their owners. I look forward to the daily photos and videos also. More recently, I had the opportunity to work with Emmy’s trainer, Lenette. She, too, is phenomenal. Her training style is individualized to both the owner and pup. My time with her was invaluable. Thank you Emmy’s - you have a lifetime client! Highly recommended.
