Evan C was our sales guy, and comes highly recommended! Energetic, articulate, and friendly. We were treated politely from Donna at the door, to his desk, and drove out with a very nice used vehicle, with no hassle despite the usual hectic pace expected. Ron the finance guy was actually the least stressful finance person I've sat down with in 10+ years, and the whole process was - enjoyable.

This is my second 5 star experience working with Costal VW & Chris Ryan! I decided I wanted to trade up my 2020 Atlas Cross Sport for a 2024 model - and Chris (& Joe) went above and beyond to make it happen for me! I didn't make it easy for them - asking for a long list of very specific features/colors, but they came through both successfully & quickly. I can’t thank Chris enough for making my second purchase with him once again seamless and stress free, and everyone at Coastal is always a pleasure to work with from sales to service!

Had the best experience with Evan at Coastal VW while getting my new Taos— super easy process and every interaction felt genuine and friendly. It’s not every day you go into a dealership and have a great experience, but that was definitely the case with Coastal.
From the moment I reached out, Evan was great at communicating and made the whole process clear and seamless.
Can’t recommend Coastal (and Evan) enough.

I was sent to Coastal VW for a rust claim under an extended warranty by VW. Coastal said they “don’t make those claims” and instructed me to call VW, which I told them sent me to them. So, now I have sitting on hold with VW for over an hour. When I asked for help from the service manager and general manager and they said to just wait on hold. Coastal took no effort to problem solve whatsoever. No calls made on my behalf. After pursuing this for 2 weeks and over four hours today, I realize I am getting the runaround. VW has definitely lost my future business. I cannot recommend Coastal VW Service Department Their failure to respond with even a hint of effort is indicative of poor management and a lack of a customer centered response.

The sales aspect of buying my certified used VW was great. Shortly after I ran into an issue with my vehicle which required it to be in and out of the service department. Long story short, my vehicle couldn’t go more the. 450 miles without needing oil added to it. Service said they had to order a part which could take weeks to arrive and to keep driving and to just come back and have the oil topped off. I asked for a loaner and was told no. I tried explaining that I had only owned the car for a month and it didn’t make sense for me to keep driving a car that was going through oil quicker than gas and they should keep it until the part arrives. Unfortunately I had to escalate the issue to the GM and we both agreed there could have been better communication and the situation could have been handled better (ie I should have been given a loaner). Fortunately, they made it right and provided a loaner. Hopefully for future customers they end up doing the right thing and provide loaners for vehicles requiring extended down time without the hassle that I had to go through. Sales were great and in the end the service dept made it right.

Bought my first car from them. Absolutely amazing experience, they walked me through EVERYTHING, and made the buying process very simple. So far I’m enjoying my Taos, and couldn’t have asked for a more smooth car shopping experience. Make sure to ask for Evan, he was knowledgeable and went out of his way to get my car the next day. I have had my eye on a new Tiguan for some time and I’m so glad I popped in. Chris Ryan is a delight to work with; he made the process very easy by listening to what I wanted and helping me find the right car for me. No pushiness and a great offer for my trade in. We had a wonderful experience buying our new Jetta at coastal VW. Evan was super helpful and all of the staff was amazing. They are knowledgeable, non-pressuring, and honest. The transparency was much appreciated and this was purchase number two for our family. We will continue to come back.
