My daughter had her make up done for prom. The esthetician was very young which is fine but she admittedly had never done “dramatic” make up before only natural looking. She didn’t do anything my daughter asked for. She wanted Smokey eye and the woman did it anything but and then said she liked it better the way she did it. But no one asked her what she liked. If she couldn’t do it she should have just said so and not practiced on prom night. My daughter brought pics and everything. She has olive skin tones. The makeup artist didn’t even have palates that matched anything but a blond with light skin! She actually said she didn’t have darker colors. I can’t imagine what she does for black people?
Anyway my daughter came home and wiped most of it off and did her make up herself. My take is if you can’t do what someone is asking for don’t fake it. If you don’t have the experience dont charge $85 for make up you aren’t capable of doing.
Will NOT be going back to Charles David.

I went to the Hanover location of the Charles David Salon today for the first time. Stacia was my hairdresser. I have to say not only does Stacia deserve five stars but so does the salon! Every single thing about it was impressive -- the staff, the ambience, the products, the haircut. This is the salon that I will choose to get my haircut and colored from now and will look no further. Thank you Stacia for making this old gray mare feel beautiful.

Oh my goodness - this location is huge! 2 floors with hair styling on the first floor and waxing/facial/spa on the second floor. I got my haircut and it was ridiculously overdue. I love the style of the haircut I received and will definitely be back. I also had a lip & eyebrow wax appointment - all 3 booked online, which I appreciate. New clients get a pack of 3 discount cards to use on their next 3 visits. I'm pleased with all my services and look forward to returning.

Aida is been cutting, coloring, styling my hair for one year since I move to Hanover. My hair were dry and damaged from previous bleaching and she saved them. She always does a great job, paying attention to every single detail. Now my hair are healthy and beautiful. I highly recommend her.Services: Haircut

Emma was awesome. I’m so happy with my haircut it came out beautiful. She’s very personable.and knowledgeable. You can tell she loves her profession and it shows in her work. Highly recommend Emma for you next salon service. Salon was clean and staff was friendly.

I used to travel into Boston's Newbury Street for my monthly hair cut before I discovered Charles David Salon, a "diamond" operation right here on the South Shore. Management's attention to detail is evident from the time you step through the door. The environment is soothing and relaxing. The depth of services and the staff from the receptionists to the shampooers are top notch and genuinely treat you like a friend from the moment you arrive. I've now been a devoted patron of Charles David Salon and client of Beth for over 25 years. She is a colour genius and hair stylist extraordinaire. As a feisty septuagenarian, I like to try new looks and have full confidence in Beth's skills to surprise me. She "gets" me, so each appointment is an "adventure" of discovery in a new colour or a new cut. As I've told her, she's the artist, I'm the canvas. I can wholeheartedly recommend Charles David to anyone who wants to treat themselves to the best experience for self care. If I could, I'd give them ten stars!!!!!!!
