“Honestly this is probably my favorite place to eat in downtown Salem, Mass. It’s inside the mall and it’s in sort of a weird location but if you love Polish food like I do, it has excellent kielbasa and pierogi - and the ladies who work there are so kind and funny no matter when you go in (and if you aren’t eating your food they’ll come after you like they’re your mother). You can also get some imported food items as well and it’s also a functioning deli so you can bring home meats, etc. I visited at least once a year and have for the past two decades.”

“I love this place! I grew up in RI, my husband in Boston and now live in Seattle area. However, my daughter recently moved to NH and we go back to New England a couple times a year. McKinnon's is a stop for steak tips and many other things (lobster pie, scallop pie etc.) From the store to my daughters freezer... then on to the plane back to Seattle. We stock up and enjoy until the next time we return! We use to buy our tips at other places until we realized this store is very close to my daughter's place in Seabrook. We've tried them all, but the original is our fave marinade. It's our go to spot now. It has everything, and it's all quality products.”

I shop here regularly for produce in particular. Local raw honey. ice cream, lots of other stuff. definitely worth checking them out”

Wine is available to customers. Crosby’s has a mixture of many different foods,, and, I have found that everything that I bring home is to my liking. “It has the feel of a Price Rite store but, a little smaller..., this location anyway. They don't carry everything but, what is there is good quality and at a good price. For example, I purchased romaine hearts that were greener, and looked fresher than anything I had seen at the three largest chains in months and it was cheaper.”

“Great throwback to a time when every town had one or two good butchers.Nice selection of cuts. They have a walk up window if you need to place a special order or get a cut trimmed up.I was making turkey chili and wanted turkey tips. They had them cut but pre-marinated. Instead, I bought a boned turkey breast and cut that up for the chili. Lots of options plus a small, mini mart (salad stuff and canned goods) for those afterthought extras without having to go to Stop n Slop. Oh, beer anyone? Good selection of beer; traditional, IPA, and other specialized beer. They also have a prepared food section.”

“I find Shaw's to be a bit pricey.Having the just for you app saves me lots of money.I mostly buy just the items on sale or items on clearance.They also have items on sale that is not listed in the weekly ads.You must clip the digital coupons though to get the sale prices.”
“Not staffs fault, but don’t use your phone as a calculator or an older guy will yell at you that you’re smart, and to do it in your head. Other than that I’ve never had a bad experience here, staff is friendly, nice location, and prices aren’t bad.”

“Have been coming here for decades since i was a kid. Great, friendly service always with a smile. Subs are made on the spot with fresh soft bread and top notch deli meats. Perfect little pit stop on the way to the beach for sandwiches, beer, food etc...Always have to stop on the way home for slushes too.”

“AMAZING NEW OWNERS!! Although we all Miss the stores last owner "Henry" I've been coming to this store since before I could see over the counter! Over the years the store slowly emptied and Henry was gone now there is a hardworking very smart younger man who's boughten it and has completely FILLED the store!! I live around the corner and he's the only business open late on bridge st if u need something quick late at night! Definitely stop In and check out the new store and help it grow!!! I will continue to go to new market as long as it's their for the next 30 years haha”

“Love Crosby’s!! However, purchased what I thought was fresh beef today that said sell by Oct 8 (todays the 5), I opened it and it was brown under the where the sticker price is and all throughout the meat. Disappointed, I thought they carried high-quality meats. Would add pics but already threw it away!”
